Delta is really something else, she deserves to be there. She is actually helping people to reach their potential

Weird that George misinterpreted this situation so severely. Daniel clearly meant "No one in the streets seems to care whether I play guitar or not". Additionally, Daniel seems like a really sensitive, nervous person himself- the type which George should easily empathize with and would probably get along with really well on a personal level, honestly.

I can see how George took it as rude because he knew nothing about him prior to the audition. He thought that he asked if he olayed guitat and the guys response was like "why does that matter? No one in the audience gives a damn if I can". I can't blame George for feeling disrespected. But I'm so glad that he took a moment and realized what was actually being said.

FUCK YES! when i was a kid anytime I tried to practice all i heard was "too loud" "can you do that some other time?" "can you practice somewhere else" but they sure did love to show up to my recitals and tell all the other parents "That's my boy" when I played my heart out and got attention from other adults.

I damn near cried when his parents started singing his original song. That’s support that not a lot of artists get.

Boy asked "can you play guitar?" the guy replied "yeas I can, but no one really cares" which most people took as, people do t really care if he plays guitar or not. They either like him / see him, or ignore him / just walk past. Boy seemed to have taken this the wrong way though, thinking the guy said / meant, nobody cares about playing the guitar, while again, the guys more talking about his own personal experience playing it.

If there is any vocalist that made the judges feel emotional every time. It's this one. I love how he was open and found healing through this journey. Also voicing himself to change it to piano ballad.

His voice is in between the voice of The Passenger and Ed Sheeran. It's perfect in it's own way.

He's been busking on the streets, he probably meant that "no one cares" in that guitar doesn't bring in as much money as piano. It didn't seem disrespectful and George is being dramatic.

Being on the street so much I would have thought the kid might have learned a few things. But I would be wrong thinking that I guess. When Boy opens a door for him--- why not open it a bit more and hop on through. 'Guitar? Well... yes, maybe....ah...... next time???!' Seemed like a SNIVELING and stupid response, to me. I did not like this performer, personally. Just because of his snotty reaction. Had it been me, ' you want me to do while standing on my head!!? SURE! I can do that!!! Does anyone else feel that heaviness in his voice? I felt like he was broken somehow. He didn't smile much. But the final performance was beautiful, not just how far he'd come through music, but you could see the laughter in his eyes and genuine joy in his eyes. I'm happy he got happier and reached for his dreams. He's great. Heard some of his songs on youtube a few months back too.

When Daniel sang "Torn" i had goosebumps all over me. Daniel Shaw listen to me. Fear is something every artist feels. As long as you accept fear is just in your mind and then tell yourself "I can do it". Fear will slide quietly out of the door. And you will overcome. I have seen amazing growth in you 👏 and I want an album too 🎶 You are a 🌟 ⭐ 🌠 no matter what happens. You are the new Ed Sheeran in the block!

I dont understand why people are saying that Daniel was being disrespectful. Like no he wasn't being disrespectful he was just saying that people didnt really care if he played guitar. But that does not make him star quality in any shape, form or kind!!! He might sing ok but he had/HAS no 'Star' quality. None! No one would go out of their way to go see him. Let alone pay money to hear him. He is NOT likeble!!! Barbra Streisand, on the other hand, can draw a crowd. A HUGE CROWD!!! Always could!!!! Always did!!! Still does!!!! This guy???? He is truly inspirational, such raw talent. I'm crying, he is THAT powerful!

Being a street performer for about a decade, that's a long time to go unnoticed, so his response of "no body cares" was fitting for him.

I was so confused when George ran off the set. I actually thought he was going to get a guitar 😬🤦🏼‍♂️

I do really love that kind of coach that sees your capability that you think you can't do it, but in the eye of your coach they sees that, it's not that only you can achieve.❤️

I feel bad for both Daniel and George. Just a miscommunication. It’s nice that George acknowledged his mistake. Lovely human moment!

Deltas empathic ability to have vision was the right decision for Daniel. Bravo Daniel, and thank you Delta for finding, and bringing out his genuine creativity. He will grow because of you. This is what a real coach does.

Yea she was really great with him. I remember watching this season and thinking how great he is/was, but she definitely played a great role in his progression. She also always challenged him. He's super talented and she's both talented and super hot ha ha.

Daniel Shaw is an incredibly talented artist! SO natural and passionate when he sings. Pitch and placement is tight. You may not have one The Voice, but you have won the hearts of millions!!

All of his performance is just so surreal . So love it

Perfect example of don’t judge a book by its cover. George perceived the message in a particular way because he didn’t know the background of him being a street performer, knowing that information changes the context of his comment. Don’t judge people.

Daniel really needed Delta to help him break free from his self-constructured boundaries/limitations. Delta's maternal instincts were just what Daniel needed to open up and stretch out. Both Daniel and Delta are amazing, a union made on the Voice.

Daniel is breathtaking. A truly amazing natural star. Love him. ❤️

Daniel Shaw, now that it’s 2022 I’m going to have to search for his music, this is why I love this app! It’s the best part of the Voice!

While it was painful to witness George misunderstand where this kid was coming from and storm away with his misconception, it is, in the same instance, a reminder to all of us to check our own misconceptions at any given time . . . Kudos to Delta for smoothing the way for everyone and to George for rethinking his understanding and speaking it out. We are always evolving in this gig . . .
