Iranians are sincerely friendly. I've seen lots of food vlogs travelling to different parts of the world. Most of the people are friendly but not sure they're sincere. For Iranians, I could sense their sincerity. Just my opinion.

I was in Iran in 1976 where I fell in love with the food. The chickens are mostly free range. The taste of the eggs is unbelievable. But ghormeh sabzi is still my favorite.

These documentaries are true but they aren't the whole truth of Iran. It's not a month that we faced a total internet blackout for a week and government killed sth between 300-1000 protesters on the streets. You should live in a vacuum to not feel the peoples depression. Also, there are loads of people who haven't had meat for a long time as they can't afford it anymore. So, although people are generous and smiling to you they live everyday suffering from depression and uncertainty of future.
