Where were the "rellenitos, chuchitos, tostadas de frijoles y de guacamol con queso, atol de ceniza, dobladas de chicharron fritas"???, pedidos de un antigueño aucente 40+años... all the foods I mentioned I've found here in the states( so Cal) minus the atol de ceniza, my favorite as a child in Antigua. Circa early 70's.

Those native american women look soo beautiful when they are younger. Wish they took care of themselves better as they get older.

Was there in mid 90's. Had to order double for a meal. At the time all the food servings were super small as the locals don't eat much because of their small stature.

The problem with putting tortillas directly on the grill, is that they dehydrate and become hard. If the grill is to be used for keeping the tortillas warm, a mini steamer with a small amount of water.

I walked pass this market several times; I am way to nervous to try the food!

Con mas de 22 e'tnias de origen Maya y uno Xinca y Garifuna , todos ellos con legados culinarios para Reyes y Dioses que au'n hoy dia muchos no conocen ni en las redes ya' que son celosamente guardados y ofrendados en dias y e'pocas especiales sagrados para ellos y que han mantenido intactos por siglos. Ame'n de que muchos no hablan Castellano.
