Ah Mike the wanton noodles would indeed benefit from something vinegary - that's why we eat it with the green sliced chili :D they're pickled and sour and are available at the front of every wanton mee stall

You're honestly the most interesting food blogger I've ever watched! Whether it's on KZread or those with actual broadcasted TV shows, I never have the tendency to want to skim through your videos because of how interesting your commentary and enjoyment of food is!

@@AStupidTourist what kind of controls are you concerned with? The only one that bugs some people are chewing gums. Other than that, the controls are in place to make the place better. If you are looking for wild cheap seedy fun with alcohol and women, then I agree that this place is not the best place for that.

Same! Singapore is the only place I’ve visited where the only thing I wanted to do was eat, eat and eat. I had never ate so much in my entire life. I was literally in pain from eating so much but it couldn’t be helped! 🤣

Ri Ri Hong Mala is pretty expensive for Singapore standards. Other great, affordable mala options are at Bugis Jin Jin Eating House (496 North Bridge Road) and Clementi Food Pavilion (443 Clementi Ave 3).

Glade that you tried the curry chicken noodles. That is my favourite curry chicken noodles stall and during peak hours, the queue can be as long as 45min to an hour.

The Cantonese delight stall you bump into is the best stall in that food centre! the fried chicken cutlet in curry noodles is simply amazing!

You can try the hokkien mee stall at chomp chomp follow by bbq stingray with samba and fried oyster Combo with XL sugarcane drink

My favorite food city!!! Now we have non-stop flights from SFO that make it very easy and convenient to get there. Just 7 or 8 movies and you're there! :) Singapore has way more to offer than just food...so many wonderful attractions.

Potato is life some types Hong Kong kai lan and choy sum look/taste almost the same (i.e. both have the flower buds and similar looking leaves/stem). Cantonese wanton noodles usually use HK kai lan instead of the commonly found choy sum

I just finished dinner and downed a couple of cookies for dessert but why am I drooling over all these? Missing Singapore hawkers so much!

I feel like I'm going to use my hands to eat everything I get. They all look so yummy I'm legit drooling.

You can also try Peranakan food like the Nonya kuehs and Kueh Pie Tees. Also herbal soup with pumpkin rice. Lao Huo Tang sells good pig stomach soup. Satay and otah are also really good. Nasi lemak with blue rice (bluepea) is kinda in. Murtabak is an upgrade of roti prata with filling, kinda like tortellini. Ok I can go on forever. 😁

this video also taught me how to spend 6-7 hours in Chinatown queuing and eating, thanks... I found a new way to spend my weekend
