That's the same thing I'm thinking. According to the storyline, uncuffed Cody is strong enough to give Ryu hell. In the comics Ryu had to go Satsui no Hadou in order to beat him.

That's a bold faced lie. The producer of Soul Calibur 6 said Tekken 7 is patching out the input delay that eats inputs caused by UE4. All the current games that run on it have that issue but they are the ones actively addressing it. SFV should as well.

Arcade Edition doesn't really fix any of the fundamental problems with the game which can't be fixed because they're core parts of the design, like braindead input windows to do every combo so any shlub can play like a pro. It may not have improved netcode. The story was still shit, all they did was finally announce the characters people wanted a year ago instead of the trash we got like Abigail, Ed, and other literally whos. I'm glad they finally announced some characters that look interesting, sure took them long enough.

This is the first time I've been truly entranced by a SF trailer since the days of SFIV and SFxT.

- Sakura finally graduated....& is working at an arcade, alright. Could have asked Karin for a job, but okay. Love the new design, though. - Blanka is whatever. I don't hate him, but he doesn't have my blood pumping like the others. He's definitely the weak link of S3 in my opinion. - Falke looks awesome, can’t wait to have another staff user in Street Fighter (plus more lore for Neo-Shadaloo). - Mayor Cody is amazing, glad he got his life together. - G looks alright, I’ll need to see more of him (but he is growing on me fast). I assume he’s SF America’s president (going by the Flowtron leak). - *THE KING IS BACK, BABY!!!!!*

Blanka is a Classic and a high demand character also. Blanka has been a really tough character to master and beat in all SF series thus far. Happy he's back. Sakura is a nice touch though, and yes Sagat, Welcome back King, #Tiger

But no one talks about how much they have improved their animation.

Out of all the modern fighting game openings I've seen, this one is my favorite. It's a little cheesy at some parts, but that adds to my appreciation 😂

This is the best opening cinematic for a fighter I've seen in years. The theme and cinematography were beautiful and made the cast look like movie stars. I hope it's an attract mode in the real game so I can just let it rock sometimes like I used to do in Soul Calibur 2. Incredible week for Capcom.

I lost my mind back then when first seeing Cody in this trailer! Still one of the best character reveals ever! 👏🏼😭✌🏼

This intro makes me realize we've been lacking really great cinematic opening intro sequences for fighting games in recent releases. Glad to see such a good one from one of the big franchises: I hope to see more art direction like this with the big releases next year like DBZ Fighters, Soulcalibur, Blazblue Cross Tag, etc.

I love this trailer because of the story it tells. Ryu begins by surpassing the Satsui no Hado Then he has a deep retrospective of his recent encounters in the form of those who fought him In between, we can see Laura sharing space with him, which caught my eye as no other character (Aside from the two he fights), interacts with him. Maybe impliying that he is into her? And then, the worse memory he has, the lethal blow that changed his and Sagat's life. Finally, (and appearently because of the sunlight that changed his body temperature) his thoughts turn purple again, and sees the ones he must defeat, slowly embarcing the Dark Hadou again. At least I got that message, still amazing trailer Capcom!!
