You know something? I watched these series finally after so many years, a few years ago. And I watched it using a CRT TV, you wouldn't believe me but... the hadouken energy (on this scene) seems incredibly REAL as real energy on a CRT TV!! You have to experience this for yourselves :)

This song gives you super powers you never knew you had...until reality sets in at least :D

The composer also channeled something powerful, I don't know if this would be as memorable as it is with a different music/musical style.

good times ..... I got this series on vhs when it came out :)

In street fighter, Chi/ki for the hadouken is AMBIENT energy ( ambient chi or ki)that's gathered from the surrounding environment life forms even from bacteria. That why they can do the hadouken and hadoushoryu as many times as they please because they arnt using their ki. It was explained in this series. Its more similar to the spirit bomb. In one Street fighter animated movie Akuma and Ryu faught in a forest both using their signature energy attacks. If you look closely at the forest, the trees were dying, dying from having their energy sucked away and used in the battle

Even though 2V didn't' really follow the story from the video game exactly, it was still fun to watch. They were able to make a slight different story work out for Ryu and Ken on how they evolved their skills and 2V had many many memorable moments. I can watch this series over and over, it never gets old.

Minha irmã caçula é faixa azul do Karatê Kyokushin e certa vez ao vê-la treinar em casa, percebi sua postura e esse movimento de braços e imediatamente veio a lembrança do Ryu numa praia, prestes a lançar um Hadouken. Pedi para ela repetir o movimento e depois lhe mostrei o vídeo. Ela riu e gostou, disse que esses movimentos são de um kata mais avançado que ela viu a mestre ensinar aos alunos de faixa mais avançada. Foi uma lembrança muito legal e agora estou aqui em loop neste vídeo. Osu! 🥋

I remember i used to train my chi, kept this track in mind to focus.... Formed chi balls but was never disciplined enough to convert it to jing and manifest it into a physical force. However on retrospect i don't think it was needed or possible to make such a metaphysical force into something visible to the human perception. I was misguided and stopped because i couldn't see it but o could feel it and they should've been enough to continue my training. This is where fiction and reality diverge. That tingling electric static sensation and the formation of a ball that you can feel but not see should've been enough but i was chasing something more tangible and failed to acknowledge the presence that was already there. Now I'm a bit desensitized but when i jog trails recently i started holding out my hand to the forestry be and try to sense the life energy around. I'm so far from where i use to be but hopefully i will harness that energy yet again. The problem is what will be my intention once i do. Destructive force vs Appreciation and acknowledement.... possibly healing eventually..... I'm far from what i use to be that's for sure
