That Ryu stage theme music just hits! The whole stage with the colour of the sky in the background just gives off such an epic atmosphere.

It's pretty awesome that this game still looks visually acceptable after all these years.

Street Fighter 2 was way ahead of its time. Music, animations, sound effects, gameplay, etc. Straight up blown away when I saw this for the first time.

@1:40 Punching underneath those spinning kicks in order to avoid blocking and to get the grab was amazing. Very, very smart.

One thing about this game when somebody learn your pattern it's over. Either switch it up or give up

@@joyuz6583 theres a term in fighting games called “downloaded”. Its when a player figures out your pattern and starts to make short work of you or vice versa. Its applicable to every fighting game

It's not just video games, UFC fighters have their own fighting pattern, that is why many fighters win because they already study their opponent' s pattern before the match happens. Some UFC fighters change their game plan when they realize their opponent has found a way to defeat them, but some fighters still use the same pattern no matter what.

not stolen maybe we can call inspiration. all characters inspired by real persons or fictional characters. I made a video about that matter. Ryu is coming from Mas Oyama a real karate master. Ken inspired from Joe Lewis. Sagat also inspired from a real muay thai fighter same named Sagat. Zangief coming from Russian Wrestler Victor Zangiev. You know Balrog is Mike Tyson. Guile coming from Rudolf Von Stroheim at jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Bison same like General Washizaki at Rikioh Manga Series.

@@Ron-pm3qkthere's still a thriving community on Switch. Some of the players are basically gods at this point. I do pretty well against Ryus and Ken's. The hardest match ups for me are M.Bison, Akuma and Violent Ken.

Best Ken? There were so many unsafe decisions and losses from taking bad risks and punished whiffs. Way too many random dragon punches and tatsus leading to heavy punishes. The Dhalsim is amazing

The light punch doesn't work against Ken's jumping HP, only against HK. Against HP you either have to eat it for a throw reversal and risk getting combo'ed, or just block and get tic thrown. It's horrible for Dhalsim.

his dhalsim pisses me off. dhalsim is a long distance fighter. should've been able to whoop ken easily but he tries to fight close range and gets beat by ken. there's a reason dhalsim got long limbs

Well you have to know how to fight close range too because your opponent is constantly trying to get in close range ..real dhalsim players know what Im talking about

​@@mrincredible1957 exactly, your OPPONENT is trying to get in close because thats dhalsims weak point. doesn't make sense for dhalsim to fight close range unless he has to. but he didn't have to, he chose to fight close range and got whooped almost every time on the inside. on the outside, he dominated

@@tee228 if you paid attention in the video he was zoning zangief but soon as zangief got within range he was still trying to chip damage and push him back so thats when dhalsim switched his strategy to playing offense and it was actually working for a bit that power spin drive cross-up and grab was very affective but then zangief started reading that ..the point is if you're opponent knows you are right handed you can always learn southpaw to keep them guessing instead of being predictable..the key is to be harder to read but I do see what you are saying

@@mdabdullah4379 you can fire the second hadoken only when first hadoken disappears of the screen. (Disappearing means when it gets blocked, crashed with enemy fireball, or dodged and out of screen)

That's what happens when you think you have it in the bag and start doing dumb stuff.😊

@@DieEineMieze not really.. Ryu is actually overrated. Ken is better. Ken's dragon punch is insanely strong. He can hit the opponent 2 to 3 times at a time with the dragon punch. Ryu can't do like that. I would say ryu's hurricane kick is the only thing better than Ken.. His hurricane kick eats up the enemy's life bar more than ken's. Ken's hurricane kick is weak. This is the only thing where Ken is weak. Other than that, Ken is better than ryu overall..

Kimse bu oyunda adil değil ve hepsi nerdeyse hemen hemen macro ve trubo kullanıyor.. Hızlandırılmış ve gecikmeler kapatılmış oyun... Normalde ikisinide zorlanmadan yenebilirim.... Ama adil bir dövüş arcade makinesi lazım..... No one is fair in this game and almost all of them use macro and trubo.. The game is accelerated and delays are turned off... Normally I can beat both of them without difficulty.... But I need a fair fighting arcade machine.....
