I prefer her original story with her being a natural code holder , being friends with D.D and (best capcom Boi) luke ,and a mysterious relationship with avel (dealth)

She's basically a re-skinned Athena from King of Fighters (she was added into MAX by a former SNK artist who joined Capcom after SNK declared bankruptcy in the early 2000's which is why Ingrid's pixel art design looks straight from out of KoF). Ingrid is so out of place in Alpha 3 and Street Fighter in general imo, she looks and plays like a MUGEN character.

Ingrid really deserves to make a grand return as a playable character. She's a great character, and her sun-originated power that Bison stole to power the Psycho Drive would make for a great concept to expand upon and even give a name! Long story short: Ingrid's power being called the Psycho Power in this game was the result of an accidental mistranslation, but people hate Ingrid for other... rather stupid reasons.

I don't mind Ingrid in MAX even though she's VERY out of place compared to the rest of the cast, especially with her pixel art and special attacks standing out like a sore thumb (she even stands out against Eagle, Maki and Yun who were added in in the GBA version). She's like a combination of King of Fighter's Elizabeth and Athena and as you've probably heard many people say before, she's like a MUGEN character that somehow found her way into SFA3 lol. Still though, she's fun to play as, I don't mind her.

Thanks for being an honest to goodness play through. Glad I can check out this hard to play/acquire game.

from the character roster to the extra modes, to the graphics, sound, music and voicovers....this is such a polished game. It's a shame Capcom didn't release this version in the anniversary collection. I think the Anniversary collection would have been better if they simply ported SF Alpha 3 max, Ultra SF 2, SF Alpha 2 gold, and Third strike then junked the rest of the fat.....

Japan's pro players had a hissyfit over V-ism's crouch cancel infinite bug and a bunch of other bug exploits getting nerfed and patched in SFA3 Upper, so Capcom stuck with the original arcade version of SFA3 instead of the far superior home ports (MAX being the definitive version)

I was literally hoping he finally figured out how to do that super. It's such a weird super but it's so satisfying when you get a Super K.O finish

I like Ingrid’s retreat walk animation! It feels like she’s taunting the opponent when she does that!

I would like to see Ingrid again in a Street Fighter game maybe having her appearance different.

Never understood the hate Ingrid gets in this game I hope she comes back one day with a redesign and many tweaks in her gameplay I like her little story of the psycho drive belonging to her and Bison manage to steal it from her in an unknown way.

Does Athena have power that comes from the sun? No.

I love how she talks down on Evil Ryu like he's a child. Lol

So we finally meet one god from the street fighter universe.😮

I really want her in SF6! I love her character concept and fighting style. She also gives me KOF ATHENA meets TEKKEN 7 LILI vibes

To be honest, I found it rare for Evil Ryu to show up in Arcade Mode as an opponent.
