I don't know why, but having Evil Ryu's final boss be Shin Akuma instead of Final Bison was a really cool idea, even if you had to fight him as the 9th fight.

@@pjwashington5818 Well im sure he could beat Regular Akuma but im not to sure about Shin Akuma however Evil Ryu from Street Fighter IV is more likely to beat Shin Akuma.

​@pjwashington5818 Evil Ryu is actually crazy powerful, much more than his regular form. He could easily surpass Akuma if he followed the dark path. That's why Akuma and M. Bison are obsessed with awakening the Satsui no Hado within Ryu. Akuma for his long awaited death match and M. Bison for a source of infinite power through the Psycho Drive

Wouldn't happen. They would have to emulate another console (PSP). I wish they could have put at least the Alpha 3 from the PS2 Collection.

@@SuperCartoon96 What he meant is that Evil Ryu is not with truly evil intentions, unlike his rival/Akuma.

When evil Ryu and shin akuma clash with the raging demon.... It amps me the hell up!

Who wants to see THIS Evil Ryu make a true comeback, even if it's as a separate entity? The savage ones we got in 4 & 5 were cool, but NOTHING beats the badass, cool, and collected Evil Ryu we saw in this game. Heck, in the Japanese version, Evil Ryu tells Sakura that once he started fighting, he was bound to end up like what we see - a reminder that if Sakura does end up getting a dark side of her own (and she does - the Alpha 2 prologue manga and the Marvel vs. Capcom games show that Sakura has a split personality of her own created through her fighting instinct (or a brief nap under the sun in the MvC series' case) in the form of Dark Sakura), she shouldn't give up her humanity like he did. Alpha 3's Evil Ryu may be a demon like Akuma is, but this Evil Ryu's a demon with a heart. :')

Alpha's Evil Ryu is like Ryu, except the Satsui no Hadou has corrupted him and he's in some state that mixes agony, worry, and bloodlust. You can see pain in some of his Japanese victory quote translations. Let me provide a bunch of examples: 『何も……見えないッ！！』- "I can't... see anything!" 『……熱い！ 心が熱い……！！』 - "...This heat! It burns my heart!!" 『消す……何もかも！！』 - "I'll... make it all go away!!" 「止めても無駄だ　それに……お前には止められない」- "It's no use. It's... not as if you can do anything to stop me!" 「おれは……迷ってなどいない！！」 - "I'm... not lost!"" 「失せろ・・・・！おれが、おれであるうちに！！」- "Go now! While I'm still in control of my senses!!" 「足りん・・・・これでは、足りん！もっと壊さなくては・・・・！！」- "No... This isn't enough! I must destroy more!!" 「おれは進む……　破局が待っていようとな！」- "I'll move forward... Even if a catastrophe awaits me at the end!" 「希望などとうに捨て去った　行き着くところまで行ってやる！」- "I've long discarded any semblance of hope. In comparison, SFIV's Evil Ryu is entirely just bloodlust. He's a puppet or a zombie to the Satsui no Hadou.

I can see the Satsui no Hado is like a drug. It feels so good, but it ends up corrupting you

For me all the fighters training with the ansatsuken style should have evil Ryu, akuma, or shin akuma is the final boss
