@@RTTGunsGear see how long it is before they are in stock was waiting to see how the cloud defense EPL was going to be but I think the tlr7 hl will out do anything they bring to the table
They are pretty much the same light, but still watch the video so you can see how they compare.
Never had any issues with streamlight. I have several. No sh#t, none of them have ever failed me. Just my experience.

Same here man! I had a TLR-1 HL lens break once, but that was my fault.
TYVM as always brother, also note nobody has yet to make a video on the TLR 7X being Taurus TORO G3C compatible. Its not even in the spec manual. Youll be the first one if you make one, and ty for this I'll buy the TLR 7X soon.

New to the crew! Came over from Chris740 - Streamlight is it for me - besides a couple of SureFire X300 that are just never going to die, I have been running the 7A and TLR1 with rechargeable CR123s for years. Same cells from ARLO web cams - their Overall run time and standby times are less than the disposable counterparts, but i run them in pairs so a set is always G2G. and yes! Olight=Garbage 100% lol Cheers!

@walterwilliams268 Oh..lol..That's probably from me trying to use a knife blade to tighten it down. I never seem to have a flat head when I need one.
I would buy one going forward but replace the few 7a I have with one? Hell naa. Batteries are small and light. Odds of recharging in a bad situation or where there is no power is not happening. Battery banks will be saved for communication. Honestly I have passed the rechargeable hype on things like this,

I agree. No need to go out and replace my 7A lights. But the 7X isn't a downgrade either. The TLR-7 HL-X is now out as well. And that thing is a beast with very close to the same size.

@Criptuhpher Based off my experience and the classes I teach. Olight by far has the highest failure rate. With the existence of Streamlight, there's never a reason to buy Olight. Just my two cents.
I dont get it. You can put the same rechargeable battery in both the 7A and the 7X. Makes no sense. May as well get whichever is cheaper.
