Hows the light?

There older tailcap has better waterproof with the tape switch installed also the old tape switch has a constant on button. Idk why they call this a upgrade

Does this allow the use of the cloud defense pic rail mount for the pressure pad?

Is the pressure pad waterproof?

Does streamlights other pressure pad with the constant on button work with this light ?

I asked Streamlight on their channel on the video of this light, and they replied and told me that it works with the old HLX pressure pad and tail cap. This means it'll work with the Arisaka adapter as well.

Stream light sells that switch separately (sku 89008). You can use any TLR1 compatible switch with it.

I just checked the link, but it looks like the light only is available and not the rail mount version with the tape switch.

That’s correct. They went quick but fortunately on Monday the 27th we are getting more in.

Only problem I can see is because the plug on the pressure switch isn’t a push and turn and just an insert. I can see the wire catching on something and pulling the plug out and making the pressure switch unusable. Maybe it’s just me.

It’s fairly secure, not surefire plug secure but not bad. Secure your cables properly and it’s not likely to happen

@@Glockamole17 For those of us unfamiliar with the old switch, what are you referring to? I got the HLX pro but want a remote switch option. I didn’t want the remote that came in the kit because it’s momentary only so I am very intrigued but the old switch idea.

@97footballplayer still has the plug in switch, but there is a momentary, constant on switch available. I have them both. But if you have the momentary and want constant on, you can still use the clicky on the tailcap.

Your right also there non pro model tape switch has better waterproof because it's sealed unlike this plug in one. I'll stick with the non pro model more durable

Yes it’s duel battery. This part number is 88126 with cr123 batteries. The kit with the rechargeable battery is part number 88127. Just the light and cr123 part number is 88128. Just the light and rechargeable 18650 part number is 88129

You’ll need button tops that are a little bit longer. Protected cell flat tops are a little too short to make contact with the points.

​@@cameronallen5043I was wondering if any 18650 would be as long as their USB charging B26 18650s. Guessing somebody could use a spacer the same ID as the ID of the flashlight, but could cause flickering issues.

@@CarlPapa88I would probably just buy the stream light batteries made for it. I had some unprotected 18650 button tops but I sold them because they wouldn’t work in the cloud rein legacy body or I would have tried them out in the stream light
