This is incredible! I use an iPad as a second screen for watching tutorials or other reference material, and sometimes I also just wanna control my music without alt-tabbing. Previously, the solution was to wear AirPods Pro in transparency mode inside my headphones, this method is just an absolute game changer. Thank you for showing us this!

From my experience my iphone and ipad worked without any app by just connecting the bluetooth , with my new android it doesnt work that way anymore

Note: Also works if you plug headphones into your PC and connect to your PC, especially useful with wired headsets, as Apple removed the headphone jack

Do you have stuff when you have some kind of interference like old system sounds barely heard but very distructive, is it because bluetooth itself?

i have an incredibly specific use case where i need a cable connection to stream video through Vysor (free), but i didn't have any ports left over for an audio adapter. i was lookin around for hours before i found this lol thank youuuu

Yo how did you connect your ipad/iphone to the pc through blue tooth

hey I was wondering if you knew why my device won't show up when I open Bluetooth audio receiver? I connected my device to my computer the same way you did it, but it still did not show up. If you know how I could fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I finally updated to 20H2 and it works like a charm for normal audio sources (youtube and the like). But if I start a zoom meeting or a skype call it defaults back to the speakers, which is a bummer. I don't suppose there's a way around that?

I’m not sure. At that point it’s something to do with Zoom not allowing it’s audio through Bluetooth speaker

This only plays audio from your iPad through the computer. So your computer acts like a Bluetooth speaker.

It detects it similar to a bluetooth speaker. So it can only output sound. No input(Mic) possible with this method

You will need to search for a different solution. This method can only stream audio to the PC

Do you think you can do something like this but for calls? as in it shares both audio and the computer's mic if you can do that. Also since android and ios calling is kinda different focus on ios if you can.

I think its just the bad combination for bluetooth softwares for ios device and windows bluetooth, they just dont seem to mix well

@@johnwillis1455 I think this is because Apple has "rolled their own" version of Bluetooth that works exceedingly well in their ecosphere but not so much elsewhere. Such is the way of Apple.

My Iphone shows up with the phone icon instead of the PC icon when connecting. I'm able to pair it with my PC but I keeps saying "Idle" even thought both devices show they're connected to each other

I would just remove devices from each other, reinstall the app then try again

If two PCs have Bluetooth can you stream all audio from say a WIn10 laptop to your main Win10 PC?

Unfortunately I don’t have a way to test it with a windows laptop. I tried it with my MacBook and it did not work.

I'm having problems with this method, but it's in a very specific situation. I decided to do this to play games with my friends, while I play on the computer and they play on the playstation. I connected to the PlayStation's voice chat via the PS App, and made this Bluetooth connection to listen to them on the computer, this way I heard the game and them on the same wireless headset connected to the computer. At first it really worked, but I accidentally closed the PS App application and when I tried to open it again to reconnect to the chat, the method stopped working. Everything indicates that it is connected, on my iPhone it indicates that it is connected to my computer, my computer indicates the same, and the application worked normally, but when I enter voice chat, the sound immediately stops being transmitted to the computer. And that's the problem, when you enter voice chat, the sound stops working. If I'm listening to music, there's no problem, but if I enter voice chat, the sound starts playing on my iPhone, and in AirPlay the computer option doesn't appear

but this Bluetooth audio receiver received audio gives mixed output, can't identify left right sounds

It does output stereo sound. Check settings on your phone and PC to make sure neither is outputting mono sound

No it’s acts like a Bluetooth speaker so it would not work that way

but here the audio will only work on the pc... i want the audio to work on both my phone and pc at the same time.... what to do then??? what app should i download??? i tried sound seeder but its very tiring....

Yes this method only works for streaming audio from phone to PC. It's not possible with this software and I don't know of any software that can do what you're asking. If you find something let us know

@@classyorb After some research I found a solution, I disabled the privacy features in Windows 10 with DoNotSpy back in the past 2 years ago on my notebook. no audio inputs had worked, after I removed them back to original everything works fine now :)
