I can't stop myself from writing those stories 😭❤ 1/2 I have been dancing for as long as I can remember. I was really good at it and that's why I decided to audition for the JYP agency. After a week of nervous waiting, a positive answer came. Without hesitating for a moment, I set out on the adventure of my life. A huge amount of work awaited me. Daily training in singing, rapping and in the dance practice room could exhaust me physically, but I felt that it gave me great satisfaction. After just 8 months of being a trainee, my biggest dream had already come true. I was to make my debut in a 5-member group as a main dancer. Along with me, Dahyun, Momo, Yeji and YuQi also made up the team, and the badass concept was chosen as our theme. I spent long hours practicing before the performance. Let's Kill This Love was our debut song in which I had both singing and rap parts to master. In addition, I studied every move in the choreography. Finally, the day came. I was both extremely nervous and excited when our stage was announced. All the stress escaped me as soon as I heard the music, which carried my body to dance. Every hour spent on practice paid off. During the ending fairy, I realized that I got the loudest reaction from the audience. It was then that Lee Minho noticed me for the first time. The experienced dancer immediately recognized my passion. During the preparation for the debut, we were given the opportunity to dance together with other idols including Stray Kids. I loved these guys, especially Changbin. Thanks to his advices, my rap has improved significantly. We enjoyed spending time together in the studio. During this time, Binnie became both my first biggest fan and my best friend. While spending time in the studio, I also met Bang Chan, and Felix, who at the time was recording his part for their next comeback. The fact that I spoke fluent English only strengthened our friendly ties. As a born dancer, and with the help of the guys, I was growing faster and faster, which did not escape our fans. That same day in the evening I had a dance practice with several other idols. The company wanted to record a dance cover with their best 4th generation dancers. Therefore, of course, Dance Racha had to perform with us. I loved admiring them while they danced. Each of them had their own unique style. Felix was full of energy and performed complicated moves. Hyunjin moved sharply but subtly at the same time. Minho, on the other hand, represented perfection. His technique was amazing. He was the one who guided us and helped us master the more difficult parts of the choreography. His personality was a mystery to me, but when he danced he literally shined. I even caught myself staring mostly at him. Dmn... It didn't help that several times I caught him sending me judgmental glances when my moves weren't perfect. If only I had known then, that he was actually impressed with how much emotion and effort I was putting into dancing. That he began to admire it. Well, I would never have thought that someone like him could notice me. 'You are extremely distracted today'. I jumped up surprised, when Hyunjin appeared beside me as if from underground and grabbed my hand to get my attention. Well, it didn't escape my attention that he had helped me more than once and laughed along with me at our mistakes. When the practice was over, he invited me to dinner. I had a great time and hoped it would distract me from Minho. However, to no avail. During the next practice, he exceptionally gave me and Hyunjin a hard time. He was certainly annoyed that the date distracted us shortly before the performance. Eventually, however, the day came. The performance was extremely successful, and the fans were delighted. What's more, Bang Chan made my day after he chose a song I love for his solo cover, I Don't Care by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber. That same evening, the bands performing at this concert had dinner together. We drank there for a bit, which made the atmosphere loosen up considerably, however, until I noticed the Dance Racha, who were having an apparently heated conversation outside. Concerned, I went outside the building. The first to notice me was Felix. He walked right up to me and smiled brightly, then before I could say anything he kissed me. I was too shocked to say anything. He was visibly drunk, but not THAT drunk. After a second, however, he winked at me and said 'Forgive me sweetie, but these two have something to learn. That's when I noticed that Minho immediately headed toward the dorms, while Hyunjin, on the other hand, returned to the party. 'Don't worry,' Felix chuckled cheerfully, 'they'll get over it. I was completely confused by the whole situation. Especially since I also drank a little. I decided it was best if I went to bed. This was the best possible decision, because a very hard time was ahead of me. More and more practices and the upcoming comeback. In addition, one day the Internet was bombarded with a rumor about me dating Bang Chan. First ships, and now this. Yes, my first dating scandal. With one of my best friends. Wonderful. Fortunately, Chan made me feel better about it many times by joking about it both in our group and during his lives. I was extremely stressed about the atmosphere during the dance practices. Hyunjin seemed uncomfortable at first, especially after we went out to dinner together, but we returned to friendly relations fairly quickly. 2/2 The next day, after many hours of practice with my team and MC duties, I arrived for another practice with our officially newly announced dance unit. I didn't manage to eat anything that day, and because of extra exertion I felt so sick that I couldn't swallow anything. The room was extremely hot. It was as if there was not enough oxygen in there. As time passed, I stopped keeping up with the rest several times, messing up the choreography. I asked for few minutes break and walked to the restroom during that time. When I returned, however, only Minho remained in the room. He did not look happy. 'Where are the others?" I began quietly, but under his piercing gaze I didn't dare say anything more. 'We decided that it was enough for today.' I nodded at that and moved toward my things. 'Are you all right?' Minho suddenly seemed concerned. No wonder, he had put his whole heart into this unit, and because of my weaknesses we had a delay. I nodded to him without stopping, however, after a moment I felt that something was wrong. It was as if the floor was approaching me at a surprisingly fast pace.... I realised after a moment that Minho had caught me when I fell, and was now handing me a bottle of water. I accepted it while whispering an apology. 'You are exhausted. Why didn't you say anything?' Lino seemed upset, even angry. I shuddered, hearing his tone, apologizing again and trying to come back to my senses. What sobered me up was Minho's touch on my hands. He looked at me seriously and took a breath. Then, when I looked at him, he didn't look angry. Or at least not angry at me. It was then that he began to apologize to me for how much he had burdened me with extra comments and exercises recently. His explanation was that he was frustrated by the behavior of some of some and he let his emotions decide. Emotions he felt for dance, just as I did. The emotions he felt for people who loved dancing. People like me. I was faint, but after a second I panicked and picked myself up quickly from the floor. I staggered for a moment, then Minho grabbed my arm, saying in a slightly different tone 'I'm worried'. I mumbled something random under my breath, and ran out of the room. Upon reaching my dorm, I realized that I was still holding the bottle he handed me. I nervously emptied it and went straight to bed. I didn't have the strength to think about what had happened. In the morning I considered it a product of my imagination, trying not to think about the empty water bottle that stood on the bedside table. I had to focus on the comeback. The dance cover recordings were to follow our tour of Korea. City after city we gave more concerts, gaining more and more popularity. The last concert was back in Seoul. We were all tired, but this one last effort remained, after which the band members were to have a week off. I, however, was faced with recordings. I tried to think positively. This was what I dreamed of. This was the life I wanted. I couldn't let down our fans, and the people who devoted their time and energy to make everything perfect. However, something did not give me peace of mind. Throughout the tour, I couldn't stop thinking about what Minho had told me. Was it just my over-interpretation? Considering how tired I was and how much I admired him, it was quite possible. Meanwhile, like a fool, I then ran out of the room without saying a word. I felt surprisingly bad about it. I was extremely anxious for his approval. I didn't want to let him down. Just not him. In the short break between songs, while we were able to snack on something and fix our outfits and makeup, I was unable to swallow anything. During the farewell to the fans, the girls standing on my sides tried to discreetly support me as I hid my pain and exhaustion behind a forced smile. As soon as the spotlights were behind us, I finally felt in how bad condition I was. When the adrenaline left me, I let out a muffled cry of pain as I felt not only my muscles but also realized that my ankle and shoulder were in an awful state. Both had been bruised and swollen for several days, causing me to have to hide it under my outfit. No one had time to react when I sank to my knees, leaning on the floor with no strength left in my body. That's when I heard a familiar voice, and soon after, the staff and my female companions were swarming around me. 'Let her breathe, step back. Give her some water.' Binnie. I was relieved to feel my friend's presence with me. I nodded reassuringly to my team and even sent them a forced smile to get them to go to rest. Although it had an effect and the girls anxiously let the staff lead them away, my smile quickly disappeared. 'You did yourself pretty bad'. I mouthed an apology, but Changbin silenced me with a gesture. 'It's not to me you'll have to explain this to', he said. Then patted my head and stood up, making room for another person, while the physiotherapists were checking on my shoulder and ankle. My stomach twisted into an even tighter knot. 'I have failed you'. Although tears of pain, exhaustion and shame clouded my view, I knew who was next to me. Minho tried to deny it, but I interrupted him, with a shaky voice. I began to apologize to him for my incompetence, for not giving as much of myself as I should have, for failing so badly physically now, and finally for not being able to stop thinking that I am not good enough for him, because his opinion matters most to me. My confession was pathetic and worthy of laughter. Not knowing how to get out of it anymore, I just said 'I really love dancing. It is like oxygen for me. I swear. But I can't stop thinking.... I can't...' I fell silent as I felt the soothing cold on my forehead. I leaned toward it, letting it relieve both the throbbing pain in my temples and calm my raging thoughts. 'I know that,' Lino whispered, 'After all, I like you. very much. Maybe even as much as dancing.' This time it couldn't have been my imagination. I opened my eyes to see that it was he who was applying a cold compress to my forehead and looking at me with a slightly worried smile. I didn't have much time to focus on that view, however, because after a moment, one of the physiotherapists moved my hand just enough to make me let out a cry of pain, and my view was again covered by tears. The last thing I heard before I rolled into the darkness was a familiar voice saying 'Rest'. Due to my health condition, the cover recordings were postponed. The company issued an official statement on the subject. I was incredibly anxious about it and felt insecure, but during the tour my band won more fan sympathy than I expected. There were a lot of comments wishing me well and even blaming JYP for everything. During my return to fitness, I accompanied the other idols in the dance room, trying to observe their movements, memorize them, and imagine how I would perform them in my style. After a while, I gradually began to return to practice. This time, however, whenever even the slightest grimace of pain flashed across my face during the more demanding elements of choreography Minho ordered me to rest. This, of course, could not last forever. We were idols and had our obligations to the company and the fans. In the end, we managed to record a dance cover that became a hit on the internet. Thanks to this collaboration of different groups members, each of them gained popularity. The repercussions of this included, unfortunately, the rumors, and alleged scandals that appeared from time to time. More than once they were painful. Especially when they involved Minho or me, painful for both of us. In addition, we could not disclose in any way that we had started dating, due to agency policy. The life of an idol is not a bed of roses. It was a one big test for us while we had little time and often even less strength for ourselves. Okay this is my story xD My dream was it to become a singer or rapper and become a successful idol. Thankfully my parents and friends supported me since I was really good at speaking fast so rapping was easy for me. After a while of thinking I decided to actually audition at the JYP Entertainment agency. After a while of mental breakdowns and doubts that they would even concider me I finally got the news..I became a trainee of JYP Ent. I was training my vocal and dance skills as much as I could, had lots of sleepless nights which I spent with practice. 8 Months have passed and I finally debuted after all this hard work. My group has 5 members which contain IU, Momo, Chung Ha, Rose and me. Our concept is a quite sexy concept and my positon is rap as I expected. Our debut song was Egoistic (Mamamoo). The time we spent on dance practice together made us grow really close and we all became best friends eventually. We worked really hard to make the performace flawless and now finally it was the day of our 1st stage performance. At first I was really nervous and anxious but as soon as the music started and my body and voice followed the rythm my anxiety went all away and my group aced the performance. At the end at the ending fairy I tried to get attention from the audience my doing aegyo. This didnt only get the attention from the audience but from other idols aswell. One of the idols in my company noticed me on my 1st stage..it was Lee Know. I recognised him quickly because of his facial expression after my performance. He talked to me after my performance at the Agency Building and he told me he was amazed my by skills which made me really happy. He also introduced me to one of his members, my biggest fan Felix. My group and StrayKids became close friends ever since that performance. We hug out together sometimes when our schedule was not that full and hyped eachother up during concerts. It was awesome, it really felt like Family. 6 month after our debut my group got famous at the music festival. We had a collab with StrayKids so we also got a few international viewers aswell. During our practice for our performance together I got really close with Changbin as we share the same passion for rap. We made a lot of rap contests for fun to challenge both our skills and so we became best Friends. I also hug out with Bangchan and Felix a lot, its like they are my older brothers that take care of me. Changbin and I even got to sing a duet one day which made the fans go crazy since we are both rappers. The song was "love or not"(Taeil x Sejeong). Our duet went viral and I was invited to appear as MC on Music Bank along the side of all-rounder Han Jisung. We got to play in the Kdrama "학교" which was a school drama. While shooting the drama both our groups members shipped us together jokingly which was at first at first but it became annoying after a while.To congratulate us for the success of the show Hyunjin gave one of their most recent albums for free with his signature and of course with the signatures of the rest of the group aswell. The fans started to ship me with the Quokka guy as well after he appeared unexpectedly at one of my concerts. Sure it gave me confidence to see him there and boosted my motivation to give more than my best at everything but the ship is getting worse. It is understandable but it was even more annoying than our members just joking about it. A few weeks after the concerts we announced our first fansign. At the fansign I was happy about all the fans and interacting with them but it was also very exhausing. After a while of signing photographs or making selfies with our beloved fans I saw a familiar face in front of me covered my a mask and a beanie to not get attention from stays at my fan sign. Despite the cover I still recognised him and we laughed together as I signed his photocard. It honestly was a good break from exhaustion seeing him and laughing together. Recently I have been hanging out with the production team/rap team 3Racha since we were producing a song together. While working on my rap part Bangchan was giving me tips on how to improve that part and as we rapped together I felt a cetain connection between him and me. His eyes are pulling me in like magnets. This is the moment I realized that maybe Bangchan isnt just a ordinary friend for me. Whenever I talk to Channie though I feel like Han looks at Chan in a angry and almost sad way..I cant quite figure out why. He does that while I talk to his other members aswell but mostly with Bangchan. This made me distance myself from him since I feel like I am the reason he starts to dislike his members. One day I have asked Seungmin from the VocalRacha of StrayKids to help me since it is hard for me to hit one high note that I have to sing in on of the most recent songs for my next comemack. As we practiced and I didnt do much progress I began to get frustrated, Seungmin tries to comfort me as the puppy he is and holds my hands while saying that I can do this. We practiced until I could effortlessly hit the high note but then Bangchan came in and Han following him inside. Bangchan asked if I wanted to grab some coffee since I worked so hard recently. I ignored Jisung and went out with Chan on a secret coffee date. We talked and laughed, he brushed with his thumb over my lips to get the whipped cream off since I am a not very talented drinker/eater and then he leaned in. He kissed me. Christopher Bangchan kissed me. I felt like I was in heaven. After our littel secret date I went back to thank Seungmin for helping me but as I walked into the room where I last saw Seungmin I hear him and Jisung arguing. " I saw you hold her hands! You know I like her, why would you do that?" Thats all I heard but then I got a call from one of my members who invited me to go to Hyunjins Solo performance with her asking me where I am. I rush to the venue and hear hyunjin singing a cover of "I dont care" by justin bieber and edsheeran. My member Rosie keeps teasing me that he is singing that song for me but I keep saying that its impossible. A few days later there is a huge scandal where I am involved and so is Hyunjin. The fans thought he sang that solo cover for me but the fans also saw that I am a little bit more interested in another member which was Bangchan. I got a lot of hate comments but Hyunjin made sure I was okay and comforted me. The fans realized quickly that the rumor of me cheating on Hyunjin is not true. Days went by and I hung out with 3Racha..producing, joking around and just spending time with eachother. Han eventually saw that I am not interested in him and that it was just a silly crush that he had on me. Changbin keeps teasing and flirting with me to make Han mad but little does he know that Bangchan also gets mad. Bangchan and I arent officially together yet so I decided after lots of thinking that Im gonna take things into my own hands and confess to him my love. I asked if I could speak to him one on one, we spend time together..then finally I said "so..is this our day 1 as a couple?", he looked me in my eyes and said "no" loudly. I was about to burst out crying after a few seconds went by but then he yelled " I wanted to say that first" with a grumpy look on his face which the switched to a giggle then to a soft smile. Yes he said..this is our day 1. He hugged me and embraced me with his warm body. After a few seconds of enjoying I pushed him away. " I was scared u would reject me" He pulled me into a hug again and hugged me even tighter. "I would have never, ur mine now hehe". Very soon after we began dating we told our members. We have even vlogs and selfies together so the fans know aswell, sadly the fans didnt react to happy about the fact that we are dating and are saying that I use him for populatity since he is the leader skz. This has really hurt me that my fans think that way so this situation has forced me to go on hiatus for a while. During my hiatus I still support my boyfriend of course by going to his concerts but at his recent concert he called me on stage and announced our relationship." Yes..She is my girlfriend, my love, my one and only..if u dont like it..why u mad bruh? She is so beautiful and talented, her personality is the sweetest, how can you not love her?" The commpliments just dont stop and I am just shocked..my face is red like a tomato and as he finishes his speach he leans in and kissed me infront of everyone. This time the fans applaude and they have over time maybe changed their view or through Channies speach. After my hiatus I work extra hard to gain even more popularity and practice harder than ever even tho my protective bf tells me to go easy on myself. The effort pays off after lots of work and after some time my group climbs the ladder of fame along the side of StrayKids.
