Yeah, this showed one aspect of his leadership, and op did a very good job displaying that; which is he tries deliberately to create an atmosphere where all the members feel comfortable and operate more like friends and family, than him being strict, serious, always formal and firm. We do of course get to see a lot of moments of him being more serious, but most of that we honestly learn through stories from him and the members, when they talk about how he is when directing them in the music production process and in other areas. In fact many of them will tell you they found him quite intimidating in their early trainee days. So while he can be firm I think his personal philosophy is to have them follow him because they like, trust and respect him; which they all do. You will not find a member who doesn't say he is the perfect leader, always putting the group first, sacrificing, stepping up when difficult decisions are to be made; but always giving others an opportunity to shine and express their own leadership qualities. So for example, he made LeeKnow the Dance Leader of the group since he was a professional dancer before joining JYP. BTW: Chan picked his members, not the company. Just wanted to throw that in, in case that's one bit of info you hadn't come across in your Straykids journey so far. This was way too long lol - sorry. Can you tell I love these kids:) they're the best - and Chan is my bias.

Hi as some one who has been a stray kids fan since predut (4-5 years now) i just wanted to explain somethings about bang chan. Basically bang chan was a trainee for 7 nearly 8 years and because of this he was the youngest with the people around him for a long time so he grew up being the maknae (youngest ) for a very long time which is why he often doesnt show the strong leader stereotype that you explained. If you have any questions about anything ill be here to answer them as it makes me happy letting new stays have the information they need

@@BlackCatReactions He also comes across to me at least to more like a big brother/young uncle because he considers them his family. He’s always calling them ‘the kids’.
