some background for the lyrics of this song: they wrote this based on something that a member (Hyunjin) said on their first ever Korean concert in 2019, at that time they went through a hiatus because woojin (ex member) left the group some time before the concert was prepared, so they couldn’t post on social media, do lives, or have contact with us (stays) because they didn’t have permission to talk about the topic for some reason. so the fandom was a total mess, there’s ppl that dropped the group because of that, some of us were sad af, some mad, and everyone had their own way to go through it, so Hyunjin totally noticed that, and when they came back, after, in the concert, he started crying at the end along with other members, and these were his words; “everyone, don’t go anywhere, please, you have to stay by our side, I promise I’ll work even harder to be the group that makes you proud”, expressing in some way how afraid he was of loosing us, the people that supports what he lives for, doing music and performing for us were/are his lifestyle, so after that rough time they had to go through, they somehow were “stuck with the phobia” as the song says, of people leaving them, and that’s what the lyrics and this song is about, being constantly afraid of someone important leaving your side, so yeah, sorry for this being too long LMAO. This is one of my fave skz songs, it’s so good and so fkn sad and relatable, cause I went through all that with them.

If there's one thing you'll barely get from Stray Kids, it's a love track directed to a woman 😂 their tracks are always non-gender specific. Rarely involved "romance", just love in general. That's what made me stay.

I appreciate you saying what you said regarding listening to music that sound the same. It’s honestly the same way I felt regarding western music or should I said trap or hip hop cause honestly now they all sound the same. Since I started listening to K-pop I haven’t gone back. I watch lyric videos once and that enough for me to know what they’re talking about. Every time I open Spotify, k-pop is my go to and STRAY KIDS are my ult group. Like you said you don’t need to listen to it in English before you appreciate good music and that’s what stray kids bring. The whole album was a slap and no single skip. I always look forward to your stray kids review and i am always happy when I see people appreciate them. This album is awesome. Can’t wait to see more reactions in the future.

This is one of my favorite songs on this album. I absolutely love all of their voices (especially han’s high notes) but Felix’s soft voice always gets me

For me, K-pop gave me back my love of music and dance. I don't even need to understand the lyrics to appreciate the music. The videos are full productions that are truly art. Stray Kids was my in to listening to K-pop, and now I have a bunch of groups that I enjoy.
