Guys, im not sure but i think that the hellevator are all the hardships that they have gone through till they can reach heaven. Keep in mind that this video was before stray kids debuted, while they were trainees and appeared in a survival show. You should react to their debut song district 9. Lol Hellevator means that they're already in hell, they're struggling and in pain, but they go on an elevator to take them up because they want to go up towards their dreams. Hellevator = the elevator to help them escape from their hell and onto better things. Stray Kids rap line is straight fire. Especially 3Racha which is a subunit in Stray Kids. 3Racha write and produce all of Stray Kids music. From 3Racha, I recommend Runner's High and Zone. For Stray Kids, I recommend M.I.A, Voices and their debut song District 9.

Stray kids are really unbelievable. Even though they just debuted and are hella young, they look like they’ve been in the game for the longest and their standards are really high. They make their own songs which is crazy good since they are still a young group. Their rapline is seriously one of the best in kpop I suggest watching their MAMA Japan performance where the rapline raps coming from the crowd and then they meet with the whole team divided in Black and White to do a dance break and then finally finishing it off with two of their songs: Hellevator and District 9. They popped tf off all year. I’m anxious to see what they are going to come up with since they finished their I am albums (which was all fire) But Fr tho..Give them time and they’ll be really big ON GOD😌

"How is the hellevator going up?" If you read the lyrics after he says "I'm on a hellevator, I'm going up" they're basically saying they refuse to continue on the downward spiral. They're going to find a way out. Elevators go up and down, but it's up to you to make the choice to change directions. Stray Kids are def a group you have to pay attention to the lyrics for, they're often very meaningful and relatable.

11:31 since no else commented this, yes it’s the same person as before. His name is Han Jisung. The song is about losing yourself in a world of depression and despair. The elevator is to signify helping them out of their personal hell and get to better places/times.

They are riding an elevator out of hell, thus Hellavator. Aka all their struggles to be an artist will pay off when they make it. :)

This particular song is about them being in hell as trainees and riding their pain (the hellevator) to debut (heaven). They were still trainees when this came out they had to make it as part of their survival show. They haven't even been out a year and have put out 4 complete fire albums with not ONE bad song (which is insane like who does that) and won 9 NINE rookie awards. Rap line is sick, just complete fire. You should at least watch M.I.A (ya'll are gonna be really surprised lol) Get Cool, Mirror and Awkward Silence to start. They have a big discography already for being out less than a year because they make their own music and have since even pre debut and they're extremely passionate so they have a lot of stuff and this isn't including 3rachas discography. I’ve been stanning Stray Kids since pre debut for almost 3 years now and I have watched this music video over 100 times and I have NEVER notice Chan’s little dinosaur drawing on the wall😂 It’s insane how you guys saw it in the first few seconds of the song

The song “Hellevator” was written, produced and choerographed by themselves as part of a mission on a survival show also called “Stray Kids” which also during their predebut in October 2017, the track itself means since they’re already in hell, struggling and in pain. They get on the elevator towards their dreams because they want to escape onto a better future.

At the start, the lyrics go on to be about how life is rough and talking about the dark days, using the term hellevator to describe their life as hell, but then it is using as more of a elevator to a new happiness.

my take on the 'hellavator' is that it is a symbolic representation of their trainee status. they were at the bottom, forced to go through a lot of physical and mental pain. This includes pressures of becoming someone 'good' enough to debut and to get the publics recognition and respect.when you're at the bottom the only way is up. so in saying that throughout the video they portrayed the hellavator as a negative component to the mv until the end where they used the 'hellavator' to rise up, which indicates to me they used their trials and tribulations in order to grow and manifest into what they have become and will continue to be. something spectacular...ever reaching for their dreams

Stray Kids videos do have a story but it´s more of a story on their albums, basically this song is in MIXTAPE album predebut where they talk about the struggle they went through to debut trying to fit everyones standards but not being happy with it, then they released an album called I AM NOT where they talk about not knowing who they are but also not wanting to be who people wants them to be, the I AM NOT trailer tells a little bit about it, then "District 9" was released and in that song they finally came out of "hell" and they were looking for their place on the industry. then in I AM WHO album they still trying to figure out who they are but now they don't feel pressured to be something they are not and in the song "My Pace" they say that it's ok to go at your own pace, and you don't need to follow anyone elses steps and finally the I AM YOU album is about finding out that it doesn't matter who you are, we are all the same. it was just like a little resume because the 4 albums have their own story within the songs. also sorry if you can´t understand something, english ain't my first language.
