For those who didn't notice: At the end ( 3:35:54 ), the computer on the left turns on like when B-12 was guiding the cat at the beginning, so B-12's conciousness was most probably uploaded to the network again, so it's still "alive". Besides, B-12 did mention a lot of times that he felt like his conciousness was at the network again every time he got damaged/turned off, so it's most probably that it has a backup process that uploads his conciousness to the network in case anything goes wrong.

This game is like a masterclass in environmental story telling. I never thought the combination of cute kitten with post-apocalyptic cyberpunk would go so well together. And it's a very fresh perspective to experience this logical and cerebral sci-fi world from the perspective of an instinctual and feral animal. Amazing.

I wish we could have seen Mr kitty return to his cat family, that would have been a more rewarding ending. Loved it regardless.

I don't like admitting this, but this game's ending made me cry. Seeing that bot hit the floor and the cat cuddling up next to it just hits me hard. This shows that the cat cared for his little friend. In fact, I was in tears making this.

I've always wondered what my cat is doing in the afterlife. Glad to see he's doing just fine.

I noticed something at the end when the cats sitting atop the stairs and looks at the camera, he does a slow blink, either at the player showing that he loves us or to B/12s memory.

Since I am a massive lover of cats, this game broke my heart in many spots where most wouldnt feel the same way. But I cant wait to play this game myself. Also, excellent gameplay!

A friend of mine got this game and invited me and told me to bring my cat, my cat didn't even moved just watched the whole gameplay like it was a movie and he used to meow like a reply to the cat in the game, Noir enjoyed this game better than us that played

I don’t understand the negative feedback on this.. it’s a game where things that don’t matter(robots,stray cat) try to accomplish something for themselves!! And that’s beautiful! The way the robots learned and started mimicking the humans was too cute.. they felt fear,anger,joy everything a human feels.. And the way every single robot in the lower cities were rooting for the cat to reach the outside was really moving for me… When clementine says something like “We don’t all have to reach the outside, it’s enough if atleast one us makes it!“ that really hit me.. In the end when the cat is looking through the glass where the lower cities are filled with sunlight while the roof opens up was really good and powerful. A small stray cat, who is soo fragile and dumb cute, brings joy and happiness to all the robots who dreamed of seeing the outside. Now that’s really something. I didn’t have any kind of expectations on this game, just dived right in, and it checked all the boxes for me, 10/10 game !!

This might be the only game that could make me cry so hard in the first five minutes at the beginning and at the end. This game is a whole ride of emotions.

It was an totally unexpected breath of fresh air this game. Probably the best game I ever played since HL Alyx. The music, the graphics, the ambiance, everything is so well done and balanced. Kudos to the 9 guys at Bluetwelve studios that made this masterpiece.

This is a really nice, relatively "chill" game. Perfect for a lazy weekend where you just need to unwind. I liked the story and the characters in it. Very cute and a must have for cat people! I would have loved it even more if you were able to customize the look of the cat so you could play as your own pet 🤣

I just finished it. It is such a great game. Kinda short but really well done and a great game. You can tell the developers put in alot of effort and love into the game. Am I the only one balled the first ten mins lol and completely lost it at the end? I cried my eyes out. Only game ever that made me cry. I can see this game being nominated for some awards.

Honestly, this is one of the most unique and best games I have played. I really hope they consider making another Stray or maybe DLC. I am currently still playing and passed the sewers. Honestly, guys and girls this is a must buy and if you have PlayStation Premium it is free with the line up. I would gladly pay money for this game. I am telling you guys and girls this game is worth your time and on PS5 the environments are beautiful. This is a phenomenal looking game.

But the developers obviously watched way too much manga and movies that dont make sense 😂 why did they do the game with robots, with very boring gameplay 😂 Its exactly like resident of evil series. Trust me, no one wants more rehashes, remasters or unnecessary shitty remakes, or more games without identity, triple A garbage, that always have the same copied gameplay, people are getting tired of it. Indie games are the true heart of video games today, looking ahead to expanding and creating new ideas for the artistic medium at their disposal rather than what is popular or famous or what could bring them thousands or millions. of dollars.

I love it how it went into a complete circle of meeting and parting. in the first instance of the security panel beeping up at ( 8:12 ) and in the last time at ( 3:35:54 ) The parallels between the cutscenes of their first meeting ( 21:15 / 21:29 ) and their parting ( 3:31:26 / 3:32:17 ) its too emotional. kudos to the director and everyone who was a part of it. This is my game of the year

Its fascinating, this game had me in tears through most of it and I only vaguely know why. I think its partially because the cat reminded me of all the cats I've lost over the years, partially because I wanted more, to see what the cat sees at the top of the staircase when it says goodbye to the city and, indirectly, to us as it moves on, and partially because, for some odd reason, it reminds me of my own life. The cat starts in a stable group, but, gets separated and has to go through the dark depths mostly alone before finding a single, great friend that unlocks much of the path ahead, passing in and out of other folks lives and, through, unexpected ways, sparking off others own journeys. Then, at the penultimate point in the tale, the friend is lost and the cat is alone again, looks back on where it has been on this diversion in its life one last time, and then moves on, to parts unknown. I've been told this company doesn't typically do D.L.C., much less sequels, so, I suppose we'll never know what became of the cat, the city, and the world of tomorrow, which is sad to me, but, if the company designers enjoy the one-shot style of production, I say, don't force em to change their route for our sakes. (Apologies for the meandering textwall, things been building inside me for the past two days post-watch and I just had to get it off my chest somehow.)

I want to stop by & say that this game is so damn beautiful. Like I loved it so much I’m still thinking about it after playing 2 months ago. The story, GRAPHICS, colorrrs, music, controls, ambience, suspense, warm ness, literally the perfect game to play on a chill rainy day. I LOVED the puzzles and how you had to start from the bottom to get to the top. My favorite section was the “Slums” like there were so many puzzles, hidden doors & places to explore! Everything had a purpose! I loved how you could talk to EVERY robot. The story was so good, realistic & wholesome. The creators didn’t complicate things with this game and I appreciate that. Stray truly deserves game of the YEAR.

If only B-12 was alive, I would have ended this masterpiece being happy. This game has been created smartly! The instinctive puzzles, the storyline, everything is mesmerising. It felt like I have been playing this game for hours. So detailed! Kudos to the team

This game surprised me 100%, simple mechanics and gameplay but the storytelling was excellent.

I have to admit this is now my new favourite cozy game, there’s just something about the game that I absolutely love.

Loved loved loved the attention to detail of the full range of body expressions the cat does. They took the time to study how a cat actually behaves. I hope they make a part 2 where he finds his friends/family. I'd even play a dog version too. Full support 🐾❤

I would play this game at my boyfriend’s house while he studied. He was accepted to Berkley and we live really far apart now. I will always remember this game and its coziness and relate it to the comfort i felt with him.

Fun fact, the slow blink at the end is a cats way of saying it loves you or trusts you.

That was an amazing experience. Every detail in this game is so great that i still feel joy after finishing this game last night. The final was so emotional that almost made me drop some tears. Soundtracks were so beautiful as well and I kept pressing O all the time for meowing haha I liked that idea a lot!

This game might be one of my most favorite storymode games! It's very well-writtened and the gameplay feels very nostalgic!

it feels so unnatural to see a cat has so much energy & urgency to fast walk x'D but if we do it in neutral cat speed, probably this game will last for days

This game made me reminisce about the times my dad would play a stray cat movie on VCR multiple times for me since I was in love with one of the protagonists, a little orange cat. It was a Japanese movie from the 80s called "The Adventures of Milo and Otis," but I can't watch it again. RIP Dad.

I love how there was no boss fights or anything in this game. Actually really fun

If we have Stray 2, I want him meeting his family again ❤️

At first I thought it was just a cute story about a cat -which is true by itself- but this... It's a lot deeper than I expected it would be. This game is truly a rare work of grand art.

This game made me tear up a few times. It gets you emotionally attached to the characters and when they say their goodbyes it hurts … truly a beautiful game!!! The visuals and soundtrack… it’s amazing.

I’m so glad someone else then me is playing. I can’t play this game my hands are sweaty from only watching 😅 at 25:43 I just had a “weeeeeheeee” moment. I love watching someone play games perfect, I can watch for hours 🥰

the concept is cute - the execution is fantastic! I never thought I'd get this excited about a cat game lol and i love that it's a lot of ambient sounds and not-real dialogue... i hope they make more games like this!!

Great game and unique, play as a Cat the whole game.. great graphic, storyline, intuitive puzzle, etc. I'll give this 10/10, i want a DLC or Stray 2 even better.

This game has better Cyberpunk vibe than Cyberpunk 2077

I can't take Cyberpunk 2077 anymore with so many bugs and glitches.

It's still good enough to see kitty return to the wild even thought he hasn't returned to his family yet.

Am I the only one who really really wants them to make a sequel I absolutely love this game I beat it like five times now I love the cat the cat looks exactly like one of my cats☠️💀☠️

I got so sad when I didn’t see the other cats at the end 😢 wish they were reunited on screen :-(

I have never cried so bad about a video game in my life. This was so profound and literally cried so much about this and I don't think I would ok for the next days hahaha but really this is something else, after games and games that often just want to make money and don't actually focus in making something new to the public, this was a refresh, and I truly hope we can have another beautiful game just like this.

absolutely loved this game. It had a mixture of everything. Some parts were chill and relaxing, some parts were quite tense and eerie. The environment is beautifully designed. It was funny and also had quite a cool storyline. Being able to play as a cat was very unique. The music is very good too. I highly recommend it to everyone

I think the beginning actually made me cry when he was with his family amd when u think about it u think ok he gonna be with his pack the whole time but then when he fell off the giant pipe amd landed in middle of knowhere it was like you gotta kinda feel sorry for the cat because he doesn’t know where he is or anything and I do think he will find his family maybe they will make a dlc for it or this might just be a one time only game to where this is the only game they will make , I think it should be stray 2 the reunion to where he finds the cats but I think stray 2 is gonna come out

This game making my heart race because I don’t want to see it get hurt or die .. unless it can’t in the game . No enemies just exploring and solving puzzles

This is one of the saddest and cutest games out there. Look at the lil kitty, he is so cute. His adventure with the robots was very sad and adorable. 10/10 🐈‍⬛️🐈‍⬛️🤖🤖

this is my favorite game, ever. i love very single aspect of it, it’s absolutely fantastic.

I don't wanna rise flags but literally anyone can adapt this video game into a movie, do to its simple story and small cast of characters if this becomes a movie it'd be a super easy movie to make and even though the movie might be a live action film, I can guarantee the robots and cats will look appealing

i thought this game was about giving some realistic cat experience. suddenly you're going to build robots and stuff. thank you for showing the game. its a good game, let me point it(ppl kinda sensitive nowadays), just not what i expected.

It seems like a game focused on storytelling and lore rather than gameplay experience. Simple mechanics, good animations and a really nice plot. Not everyone is into cat games, that's okay!

Still a classic to this day and always will be.
