*Update* We’ve taken her to the local animal centre. She has no microchip. A found report is now online and if nobody claims ownership within 72 hours we’re free to adopt. If there are owners out there of course we want them to be reunited with their kitty . If not, we’ll gladly adopt so either way we’re happy 😊 Thanks for watching and follow for more updates!

I got mine because we use to fed a stray female cat that came to my house like 10 years ago. She had babies under a bed inside our house and we kept her and her kittens. Until her kittens died and she disappeared a few years later. But one kitten survived and she's still here 10 years later.

@@hanac5586 when you let a cat go outside there's always a chance it might not come back. Because of humans, cars and others animals. They say it's better and safer to keep your cat strictly indoors. Also always microchip... When they bring it to the vet to get its check up. The vet will ask if they have a microchip, before microchipping they will check for one.

The guy filming is having the stages every dad has when their kids want a pet. 1) I don’t want it, it’s dirty and a pain. 2)starts to warm up to idea. 3) really likes it, thinks it likes him more. 4) buying it Stuff. 5) sharing food with it when no one is around, and be the most upset when it dies.

all outdoor cats do... luckily they have hardwood floor.. its easy to get rid of them unless u have carpet.. cat just needs to see a vet make sure she doesn't have parasites.. and fleas should be gone in a couple months if they follow instructions... most orange cats are very friendly so they have a little furry friend for a long time now

My dad is like that. He'd growl & yell & tell us "no pets!" But then a cat wandered into our sprawling backyard. He talked to her everyday until she came inside. Had kittens not long after. He cried when they got a new home but we kept mama, & our neighbor kept 2, so she saw her babies still. All of her kittens grew into the biggest, most athletic cats I've ever seen.

That’s a sweet kitty just looking for someone kind to help her. God bless you guys for giving her a life !

this video keeps popping up in my feed, im not even a cat person! but 10 days ago a beautiful stray cat appeared in front of my house, when i opened my door it stared, mewed, then marched right into my house, laid on my sofa, myself, my hubby all evening. I put it out for the night as i didnt have a litter box or feed it, the next morning at 630am my noncat hubby sd u better go see if the cat is still here, sure enough, it was still sitting on my porch! I let it in, fed it, it stayed for the whole morning, then my noncat hubby, on the way home from work, brought litter and 4 types of cat food! its super cuddly, is perfect with the litterbox and wont leave the house even if the door is open. my stick on wavy screen door panel allows her to come/go easily but she wont go past the front porch!

promise you guys.... 30 years from now looking back, you will be like "Im so glad we got to raise that cat that walked into our life"

Marty D. Who raises a friendly cat and leaves it outside? This cat will be loved and kept safe, not outdoors where anything can happen. People who force their dogs and cats to be outdoors don’t deserve them. It’s an unnecessary risk to take and only the animal suffers for it. If you want an animal to neglect get a hermit crab or set out food for a feral animal. Not a domesticated sweetheart starving for affection.

I think people who force an active predator to be inside a house where there are next to none of the recreational activities a cat needs are the ones that dont deserve them. its obvious that cats are far less happy inside when you actually give them the option to have some free will and go out hunting for the fuckin mice that are eating your herbal garden and resting in wet grass. Those that like to be inside simply stay there, none of mine ever did

We've had 6 cats in my lifetime, each raised to be half in-door + half out-door and not a single one of them has ever gotten seriously hurt (one lived 20 years, three are still alive; each around 12 to 18-y.o.).. We live out on the countryside in a small town with around 12k people so the cars don't pose a threat either. It's a complete and utter misconception that cats need to be kept in inhumane living conditions like this. Cats are free hunters at heart; one of ours proudly presents a bird she's caught pretty much every week. They sunbathe on the porch and on little garden walls, they respectfully burry their shit in the dirt part of the garden, they meet up with the other local neighborhood cats to chill + maybe roam around a bit but they've always returned within a few hours apart from a minor few occasions and they love running around our massive barn with two stories + access to the roof (one jumped off twice and she somehow managed to knock both her front teeth out while doing so because of the impact but hey, she's perfectly fine with it now). On top of that we always take in strays if they get along with our three and aren't too dissociative but we also immediately take injured strays to the vet and cover the any treatment/medical costs before freeing them again. Sincerely.. don't get a cat if it can't be outside, there's no greater torture to such a social and wild feline; domesticated doesn't mean it can be your show-off perfectly behaved kitty with absolutely no personality, cat's aren't just living decor but they all have desires..

This what I'm thinking. Some cats are just experts at getting their collars off so the owners give up putting one on. It breaks my heart a little every time I see one of these videos because it likely wouldn't be that friendly if it was a stray.

Very well it's owners fault for letting cat out without collar or microchip. Outdoor life is much dangerous and they might get killed, hunted, stolen , etc.

A cat showed up on my door step one day and when I open my door she walked in and went around the house then got on the couch and took a nap. The cat was really dirty so we figured she must be a stray but we took her to the humane society just in case she had an owner. She had no chip and there was no missing cats in her description so we adopted her that was 5 years ago and she a member of the family we keep her as a indoor cat and she has no interest in the outside at all.

I hope people see this comment, since there's a lot of comments saying that they should've checked for a chip. They did... And they waited several days before adopting her. She stayed in a shelter where they scanned for a chip (she didn't have one) and they waited for someone to ask for her, no one did. I believe after 10 days they took her back to their home. I saw this video like a week ago on Facebook, and all the follow up information to this video is on their comments over there.

Happened to me once. Best friend I’ll ever have. I had him for 12 years and he was the most loyal buddy I could’ve ever asked for. God definitely put him in my life, no doubt about it. Very special! ❤️

When a cat’s tail goes straight up, that’s a happiness sign. Chances are, that cat belonged to someone and has had positive human interactions.

There are way too many possibilities of how the cat was raised we have no context outside of this video and this video isn't enough information to tell us an explanation if any kind. I know a few stray cats that are friendly on Cyprus where I live and they are always fed by humans but dont have homes

tableswereinventedin1935 No, that was my sidekick and boating buddy. He passed away last year at the young age of 15. He was a super people cat, ultra smart and had life figured out. He was my favorite of all time. The dude could actually smile. Figures, the shortest lived.
