Strawberry Shortcakes are my favorite. I have so many different versions. I collect the plush rag dolls more than the doll ones but i have some of the doll ones. I have the one in the iddle (start of video). I also have some at my Grandmother who passed aways. Im hoping to be able to get them back. She got them for me as a kid and when i would see her which was rarely growing up as a young baby, became closer as a young child/kid and into adulthood (she adopted me sort of) she would put me to sleep with them 😭. So i try collecting them as much as i can.

Also I forgot to say mine didn't have much of a scent. It was very faint smelling at best. Hopefully this was a isolated problem.

my strawberry’s left leg keeps coming off and i remember seeing other people’s reviews on her and they also said that their legs kept breaking apart so it looks like thats a common issue with the strawberry doll. Although the first one i bought the waist fell apart and it wouldn’t go back in, so i had to get a new one, the new ones leg has the breaking apart issue. I hope that they improve the strawberry dolls because their really cute it just sucks that the legs and waist keeps breaking apart

Ohhh I am glad I pre ordered the fabric & yarn hair strawberry shortcake doll for my 5years old american niece and not that one. She will get hers on saturday. I can not imagine a child playing with that doll if her body comes apart that easily...that is so sad😢 If yours is not deffected then what a bad image for strawberry shortcake..New kids won't like her like we used to and/or most parents will be pissed off. How can that happen...we ve been waiting a year for her return !!

I see that alot of people had problems with the legs & bottom half coming apart. I bought mine at Walmart haven't had any problems yet. Also got the Rainbow Brite 5.5 as well. Both cost only 12.97 a piece. I thought that all the ones that they showed at Toy Fair suppose release at the same time.

I love strawberry 🍓shortcake,I grew up with her😊,I want to get her 40th anniversary doll too🍓I can't believe how bad the other strawberry shortcake was made to just come apart so easily😕

I got that same strawberry shortcake doll, and she came in half in the box. I could not get her back together. Her legs came off easy too.

Oh wow I’ve seen a lot of people getting a weak body articulation!!! I just got one at Walmart (in store) and I don’t have this problem!! I also got a basket with strawberries instead of the cake and case. I haven’t read much into it but I can’t wait for the friends. Does anyone know when they come out?

I had the original flat hands Strawberry Shortcake. First release didn't come with Custard cat only a comb. My daughter had the early 2000s Strawberry Shortcake. The doll wasn't made well then either- her hair fell out.

That must be a common problem with the early 2000s Strawberry dolls. I'm sorry about your daughter's doll and hope she was able to get one that was better made. I had an early 2000s Strawberry when I was little. I found her again after several years and her hair came out in clumps when I picked her up. It was sad. I wish she had been made stronger. Thankfully, I did get a better Strawberry, who is still strong to this day.

I collected the reproductions a few years back. I haven't decided if I want this new iteration or not. The fact that she pops apart so easily isn't really a strong selling point. Sorry about your doll. The video was a little funny, though. LOL

I haven't taken mine out of the box, but maybe I should just to make sure she doesn't fall apart. That's ridiculous! Companies are shouldn't make such cheap toys.

ok, I checked mine and it didn't come apart. I guess mine passed quality control LOL. And the scent is very faint, too, like others have said.
