    I have very sensitive skin, which many products made worse. Well know products such as Cerave would irritate and burn. I tried Liquid Gold... and lived in hope. Immediately no irritation. Calming. Within two weeks my skin barrier healed. I then began to incorporate Niacinamide and Vitamin C derivatives which I could not tolerate before... with no irritation. I then tried the previously impossible... and introduced Tretinoin... I’ve been using Tretinoin solidly for 6 months.. no irritation nor side effects. My skin has never been this healthy or looked this good. I’ve been using Liquid Gold for over one year. Tried, Tested and Proven. For me it is my holy grail. It’s worth its weight in Gold.

    So happy you liked their products!! Don’t know if I could handle the heartbreak if you didn’t haha! Having rosacea and dry sensitive skin with moisture barrier/TEWL issues, their products deliver and don’t cause any irritation on my skin. I think you did a wonderful job of breaking down what makes each of the products so special (as usual). Thank you!! 💕

    I am most interested in the retinol. I looked at the ingredients it is amazing! The company has thoughtfully put these products together and they have covered the essential actives (like ceramides and coq10). These products would be fantastic for someone just beginning to use skincare! Great review, Rob!! xxxx

    Discovered Stratia about a month ago and I am hooked!!! I got Liquid gold and the Soft AHA and they both agree with my super sensitive skin. Even the 5% lactic acid from the ordinary was too much for me. I am glad you are reviewing the other products cause I plan on ordering some more from their line.

    Hey Rob, good stuff. I've tried two Stratia products: the Liquid Gold and the Soft touch AHA. I definitely appreciate the Liquid Gold, as it's very unique and feels quite moisturizing. With the Soft Touch, I found it a bit drying for a mandelic acid (I'm used to the Ordinary's which has a more oily texture) but I've since discovered that putting on a hydrating toner first helps it to feel less drying on application. Would love for you to do a review of Maelove! ❤

    Thank you for this review! I have been researching this brand for awhile and now I’m convinced to try it. Little late to the party but Rewind has been an HG product of mine for YEARS now. I've been a customer of Stratia since their inception and Rewind is a must have for me. Rewind is a product that takes time to see results but o man, when you don't use it, you'll know. I'm a 30 year old male that went back to school last year and the amount of shocked faces I get telling them my age is great! I had a 22yo in my group once and I forgot how it came up but even the guys was like "I thought you were younger than me". My family and friends have complimented my skin dozens of times and people literally come to me for skin advice quite frequently and Rewind and CeraVe baby lotion are the 2 products I ALWAYS recommend (liquid gold is a phenomenal alternative to CeraVe btw they have very similar formulations, I'm just on a budget lol) But yea, definitely give rewind a shot if you haven't! I don't know how much it helped with "glowing" as I never really cared for that but skin firming and fading spots, it's perfect. I've tried their mandelic acid formula and c serum as well, all fantastic! I'm just lazy and poor and try to keep my routine bare bones but would definitely add those 2 as well once I graduate and get a good paying job :) but rewind is 100% a product I will still splurge on

    I used Stratia Night Shift last night and woke up with the softest skin I’ve ever had! I am new to retinal so I think this is a perfect place to start for me. I’m wondering if I can layer retinals together after my skin adjusts. Even if the night shift isn’t doing much to my skin in terms of the retinal, I will continue to use because of the moisture. I am also using the lipid gold and the night shift was even more moisturizing! The c+c serum is making an incredible difference in my my hyperpigmentation. I don’t mind the silicon as it helps it to glide on perfectly and also softens my skin. It makes a great primer as well!

    haha, you weren't joking about a Stratia Skin review coming out soon! I adore this brand. In Aus it's getting little to no proper attention that I can see. I don't even remember how I found it, but I adore all their products. Their cleanser is one of my faves/staples - thick and creamy - second probably only to my beloved Delikate Goat Milk Cleanser - but at an affordable price. (Cream cleansers play better with my skin than almost any others, so they're my go to). The Fortify oil, and Liquid Gold are my go to's the second my skin is angry. I also found it really interesting, their liquid gold has been out since mid 2016 - Kraves Great Barrier Relief launched ins 2019 I believe. Of course Kraves big mention with GBR is Tamanu oil, which your right is so rarely seen, but that is of course also a star player in liquid gold. I have both, I use both, I love both, I find there's a place and a space for each of them on my skin at different times. I love the packaging update they did too - I agree, something about it has me on board. Plus the different colours for each product. I'm on board. I'm yet to try the serum or the vitamin C, as I have my current loves already in place, and I'm trying to consciously purchase skincare now (thanks to my obsession and hoarding), but I definitely will in future. Gorgeous review. Love your work, and your lovely soul. xx

    Interesting review. I'm not familiar with this brand but it sounds like they have some very innovative products which is nice to see. The Krave Great Barrier Relief is one of my all time favorite skincare products and I've never seen anything comparable so I'm interested to hear about the Liquid Gold from Stratia. It would take a lot to get me to switch but nice to know there's another quality product that provides similar results.

    I have both the Krave GBR and the Stratia Liquid Gold and honestly, I cannot decide which I like best lol.. both are AMAZING!! The Stratia (while unscented) gives off a slight “ripe banana “ scent to me, which I actually enjoy... the Krave smells like maple syrup to me a bit.. another very similar product is the Paulas Choice Omega complex moisturizer.. it’s great 👍🏼 too

    hey Kevin, I hope you are keeping well.. I would say its a good dupe for the Krave, the reason we use it here in the UK is it is nearly impossible to get the barrier relief cream here so this is a nice dupe... If you see it in stores its worth trying the liquid gold as its really good but I would probably say its on a par with not better than the Krave one... Sending you lots of love xxxxx

    @@MadAboutSkin Thanks for the clarification, Rob--that's very helpful. I'll probably give the Stratia a go at some point for comparison, but I am hooked on the Krave. In fact, I just opened a fresh bottle of the Great Barrier Relief last night. I'm fortunate the Krave ships to the US so it's quite easy to get hold of here. The price point is comparable to the Stratia so they seem like pretty fair dupes of each other.

    They look nice and their prices are ok but unless I am missing something they have to be imported so the prices jump up due to taxes because they are above the threshold. I have been caught out with importing stuff to Sweden in the past and it gets very expensive. I know they have been around for a while now so its disappointing they haven't found a distributor over here in Europe yet.

    Hi Rob I am interested in the liquid gold for my extremely dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin, but didn't think it was available here. As with the Krave, I'm fairly sure my skin would like it if I could get it. I will have a look at the site re shipping costs etc, as that can really hike up the cost. I noticed face theory have a decent size of tamanu oil on their site for a really good price (100mls), so many try that one as I'm a bit liberal with oil being so dry. Thanks for the review. I first heard about this brand on kelly driscoll's channel, but wasn't aware we could get it here - so that's good to know. Best wishes. ps $15 dollar shipping to the UK for any order under $135 - that's quite a lot, but I may go for it at some stage.

    I’m surprised you think the skin barrier is trendy topic and there’s too much emphasis on it when it’s the whole point of skincare 😂 well I know when I studied skin, the barrier was the main focus. A healthy, functioning skin barrier is the goal!

    Maybe trendy topic is the wrong word, I mean its not the only thing to consider in skincare... so many people are fixated on the skin barrier at the moment and wonder why they are not getting the results they want for other things... its important to always be careful of it but not the only thing we should fixate on unless you have a medical skin issue in which case it may be... sending you lots of love xxxx

    @@MadAboutSkin in what sense? What other results are people not getting because they’re fixated on their barrier? I think it should always be in consideration when it comes to your routine so you’re not over-exfoliating, can recognise when your skin barrier needs to repair itself and not using products with the wrong pH. Although you say people a fixated on it, a healthy, functioning barrier is the key to dealing many common skin issues like sensitivity, some forms of adult acne, dehydration ect it’s not only for medical skin issues

  • @s_shaleh

    @s_shaleh

    I think it started trending because only in recent years have there been an awareness on the topic. I believe this is due to fact that chemical exfoliation really blew up in the last decade and no one was telling us about the danger or side effects it brought with it so a lot of people ended up damaging their skin's barrier.
