Strangest Island Greeting, A Kings Welcome!
Marinduque map, Angeles city Pampanga to Marinduque Island long ride by motorcycle. Harley Davidsons, Indian and Kawasaki motorcycles all used for the ride. Our plan to circumnavigate the island was our top priority. We were given a fantastic welcoming ceremony called a PUTONG by the locals and had dinner by the beach. The ride is to celebrate the 7 year anniversary of the Outsider Motorcycle club chapter in Angeles city. As a guest and friend of the club, it was an honor to be invited on this ride. We rode south from Angeles in the rainy season, and it rained heavy for the first hour. Sky way through Manila helped in our transit time and it wasn't long before we arrived at the ferry port in Lucena to catch our boat to the island province and the capital Boac. During our stay we visited the Philippine Luzon Datum or the center point of the Philippines.
