I'm really surprised that none of them clocked that Chrissie was pregnant... The clues are all there. She's throwing up at school... She wants something stronger (presumeably hoping to miscarry) and her mother is altering her prom dress - because she'll be showing by prom... Vecna - the monster in the show is feeding of each character's insecurities and feelings of guilt... crucially over things for which they aren't actually guilty - judging humanity by how they see themselves rather than objectively.

That's an interesting take - Though both Vecna's other victims are struggling with feelings of responsibility for the death of someone else. Max because she couldn't save Billy and Patrick for his role in the car accident... It makes more sense to me that Chrissie was worried about an unwanted pregnancy than an eating disorder. I've seen nothing confirmed in official media either way - only a wiki entries that doesn't provide a corroborating source.

The season was the best season. Especially that scen of max running. Symbolized suicide and the will to live. It's not a show for kids obviously. But it was well executed and vol 2 is going to be even better. They did up the horror tho
