Why are the straits times crew are doing a police officer job? I’m don’t meant that sg police are not doing their job but is very dangerous for the crew. Stay safe.
If they are illegal, they can commit crimes without being caught or traced.

If I want to share my opinions here, I can say that these guys are working legal and illegally. Probably they didn't afford to rent some apartment and decided to choose the jungle as their place.

They are selling illegal cigarettes. One time my driving instructor asked me to stop along the forest and immediately some men jumped out and sold him cigarettes in lightning speed.

Be vigilant citizens of Singapore! They may claim they are from Indonesia or Malaysia or other SEA countries. For all you know they could be terrorists from elsewhere surveying and mapping out suitable targets for multiple purposes. Kudos to Singapore! Now the SEA countries appropriate authorities can be at high alert at all borders and entry points. Thanks for the awareness.
