well done Charlie on your 5 years sobriety ❤ I too had an issue with alcohol and I’m now 11 years sober! Life is soo much better without alcohol,I’m now living and not just existing 😊

It must be stressful and invasive to show the world where you live and what you do everyday. I hope you get privacy off cameras. Because people always show you what they want you to see. They never show the real bad in their lives. Look at the news how many look happy and perfect on social medias but are not. I know father and mothers who have a double life their spouse know nothing about. I have attended weddings where the bride was txting her side man vice versa. I know mothers and fathers who open up about how they regret having kids while posting happy videos and photos on social medias. The world is filled with lies. It is sad that many cannot speak about these realities and live in a fantasy world. Procreating to get praises as a mom and dad instead of adopting the sad lonely souls on this world. Not oversharing your love life or being secure enough in your mariage that you do not have to show anything to the world about your ring and wedding which means nothing my dear. I know men who bought the big ring and slept around after one too many drinks. Or who visit the strip club. I know women like that too.

I finally reached out to the NHS in my area and had my initial therapy session today to see how they can support me. I feel guilty for taking up other peoples time who may need it more than me but I have to work on myself this year. Thank you to Charlie for being so open and honest, and also encouraging to others to maybe think about themselves too. ❤

We both came to our marriage 27 yrs ago with baggage that was having a negative effect on our relationship and we went to see a therapist individually and then together . It gave us the tools to help us face many tough times over the years so I highly recommend it . Once again thank you for sharing your honeymoon and being honest about the fact life is not often a bed of roses but a bucketful of thorns to negotiate

Can’t thank you enough, Josie and Charlie. Your generosity came right thru my screen. It truly is the next best thing to being there. You captured so many lovely details in your inimitable way. Such a pleasure watching you both grow more relaxed, more fit and more brown all the while eating such delicious looking food. I stayed on one of the tiny islands, a smaller hotel, in a hut w/1 light bulb when I was there decades ago w/my lover at that time. This is the 2.0 version.😂 thx again for sharing 🙏🏽

I do know what you mean about stress and sleeping well? One of my aims for 2024 is to chillax. I listen to a local talking newspaper at night? Again one of the best things to send you to sleep! Also I think we are all terrible at acknowledging success and celebrating it? My daughter got a first class degree in speech and language? Next hoop? To get a job!! 😂

I so remember that awful sadness when you leave paradise and the relaxed atmosphere that these people give and have. So busy in a lot of places but not there which is so therapeutic.

Thanks for your transparency around the value of pursuing Optimum Mental Health... It's an aspect of quality of life!!
