Woohoo! I wonder if you can (or should be able to) shoot out of the windows, taking cover inside while sniping down the bugs. Of course there would need to be a drawback, like the AI would have to try and keep out of sight of windows, and flying enemies could get into rooms through them. There could also be shutters that can be deployed manually, but broken down by bugs more easily than a wall, and can't be made from stone... I'm sure it could be added in a balanced way

Not sure if you can shoot out of them, but windows with deployable shutters are in the game. Normally you use them for early and basic temperature control. Not really sure how it all reacts to hostiles - I've never really had a "building" in a defensive position.

Oh yes there is cannibalism in this game, the last video I posted has Connor just up and die and I miss clicked on someone to butcher him when I meant to bury him. Good thing I cancelled it as he was part way thru butchering by then! 😂🤣😬

"obviously a square will be the best bang for your buck"... I mean, it kinda depends. Do diagonal walls work? If so, then a circle would be the most efficient shape.

Diagonal walls do not work, so given the varieties of 90 degree angled polygons a square is a very good bet.

Correct. Breakdowns in this game are just like crying or punching something.
