STRAIGHTEN

Ойын-сауық

Straightening strings while you're stringing the racket is crucial because you can eliminate any chances of lost tension issues by straightening the strings before or during your pull.
Once the racket is out of the machine you should still straighten the strings so they look uniform but any tension loss from too much slack in the string is already done. Check out my video explaining how I do this.

Hi there! I've got a question, I string with an older Babolat VS machine with fixed clamps. Everytime I clamp the string and then release the tension from the motor the clamp goes back about 2mm and 1-1,5 Kg tension are lost. Is it normal? If not, is it because the quality of the machine or because the clamps don't work well?

Super interesting point. Maybe you can help me. I was looking for a used wise tension head. Where is a good market place online to find one of those? I think they go for around $1000 brand new. Is it worthy the investment do you think? Are they actually a good product? Thanks ahead

Hi, I think the wise is extremely accurate and a good option to upgrade if you have a 6point crank type machine, currently they sell it direct for 750 at tennishead.com but you can get it at WDSTRINGS in the UK for 650 and they have excellent inventory of stringing equipment and ship super fast and cheap to the US. you may need to set up an account with them first. Also it is a popular product so if you end up upgrading again later you can resell it no problem. It has all the features you need. If you have been thinking about upgrading this may be a great option.
