I'm a the biggest fan of Dre for his body of work and his talent and his discovery of talent but this scene is like the perfect example of a self-serving rewriting of history along with delusions of grandeur when it came to bravery and righteousness. To me the biggest thing that stood out was the way he made it look like he would be more into seeing what's going on when the gun shot goes off then Tupac would have been. Come on Dre. It's one thing to make yourself look down and like some kind of righteous boss but it's a whole other thing to make yourself look more so like that than Tupac.

If you notice, when Dre gets into the Ferrari and gets into a cop chase, it kinda looks like the beginning of his song I Need A Doctor just without the cop chase and without the crash.

Dre did lead cops on a high speed chase across Beverly Hills in his own 1987 Testarossa and got caught for that, sent to jail for 8 month due to a failed parole while already having one in 1991.

In film it’s called an “ellipsis” basically from one cut to another a time lapse happened that our mind automatically fills. It’s meant to save time in film.

Nope lol. He never did any of that shit. It's borderline comedy to put Dre knocking out Pirus, calling them out, and going on a high-speed Ferrari chase with the police. Tupac didn't even like Dr. Dre.

This feels like a Sopranos dream sequence. Too surreal.

Dre has a great imagination, in the movie; half the weight he was, laying Piru's out flat, great relationship with Pac, Eazy stopped at the traffic lights crying at Dre's success (was there a backwards dashcam planted in Eazy's car?) just left Deathrow like a superhero...the list goes on, oh yeah didn't wear eyeliner and sparkly shit on his cheeks. Outta Compton is fictional

Well it is a movie and not a documentary. And most of the movies which are "based on a true story" are full of lies. For example Mötley Crue movie The Dirt and Mayhem movie Lords of Chaos.. And all of them are entertaining but if you wanna know the true story, these movies ain't for that. And the actual true story will be always hidden because everybody who was there has their own opinion of things, saw different things from different angles and stuff. And somebody lies anyways for their own sake :D

Pretty much... Dre only produced like two songs in Tupac's whole album. I mean actually just that one. Tupac mentions Dre in U CAN'T C ME but Daz really did that one. So that's pretty accurate. Why he didn't isn't accurate

How is pac recording Hail Mary but he still cool with Dre. Hail Mary was published 1996. It was part of the 7 day theory Album which was also featuring to live and die in L.A. At the end of the song he says California love without punk ass Dre. But here they just together in the studio and talking bout California love which btw was published in 1995. So is this scene inaccurate or am I missing out on something

Yeah exactly what I said this was likely how he felt about Death Row at that time cause he didnt like all the bullshit he was there to make music and go about his business but I don't think Dre was this outspoken neither especially if Pac was there Lol I believe Dre would not have told Pac to stay after hearing gunshots or what not and Pac would have stayed naw he was wayy to hardheaded for that Lol.
