Serbian judoka Strahinja Buncic took a silver medal at the European Open in Belgrade in 2017 and 2016 and bronze in 2018. He took a bronze medal at the European Cup in Sarajevo in 2017. He took a bronze medal at European U23 Championships in 2017 held in Podgorica. He took bronze in the Champions League in 2019 with Red Star Belgrade and silver in the Champions League in Paris in 2021.

Italian judoka Elios Manzi won the Grand Prix of Almaty (KAZ) and bronze at the European Championships. He bagged a bronze medal at the European Championships in 2022 in Sofia. As cadet he became European Cadet Champion U18 in 2013 in Tallinn. He won silver at the World Cadet Championships in Kiev in 2011 U50kg and Miami in 2013 U55kg, and silver at the EYOF 2011. He claimed a bronze medal at the 2018 Grand Prix in Cancun. He took the gold at the European Open in Cluj Napoca in 2019. He bagged a silver medal at the European Open in Prague in 2022.
