Thank you too!
Excellent video, made me feel old when you mentioned 1973. I started work that year as an apprentice at an MF dealership, tractors have certainly changed since then. Never realised there were so many Turner tractors in preservation and certainly didnt know about the link with Ford. Looking forward to part 2.

The ford link was an interesting one. It appears Turner were into all sorts.

Yes indeed!
Great vid. It's the first time I've seen a Turner Byvan or even heard of the company.

Thanks. I'd heard of the By-van but didn't realise it was made by Turner. They were an interesting company.
Great video. The Turner tractors sorta look like Oliver’s. A fella I plow with has an Oliver 550 tractor and David brown is cast into the engine block. Nice garden tractors. That fella with the snapper ride on mower with the trailer and two wheel walk behind tractor with plough, was doing very well to pull all that through the wet grass. 👍🏻 Be waiting for next week’s video. This was a good one. 👋

Thanks for watching!
Excellent video showing such a varied amount of equipment 👍 when you mentioned the off set steering wheel on the Nuffield tractors when you consider that when ploughing etc most ploughmen,/ women would lean on the right hand mudguard while driving it was actually a very comfortable driving position that also made looking behind at your equipment slightly easier 👌 for me the International 955 was the star of the show as im an International fan 💪💪👍

Thanks 👍. I liked the 955. I used to drive a 1055 🙂
Stradsett always was prone to being boggy especially with the adjacent lake. The amount of rain we've had in the last few months was bound to make it interesting for the winching and pulling fanatics. 😊😊

@@Casterton-Vintage you can't deny that when something gets even SLIGHTLY stuck on a rally field there's more chains, ropes, ratchet straps and winches appear from nowhere and everywhere than you'd believe possible. Same applies to some thing that won't start of its own free will and in its own time!! 😂 😂 😂 🤣 😂
If the sound of a Rolls Royce Merlin doesnt make the hairs on your neck standup you havent got a pulse.

Only had one day at the show and ran out of time. I'll try and get more of the stationary engines at the next show. Thanks.
