Happy Labor Day everyone and welcome to "Masterpiece Monday". Today I've got some fun books from Gabriella and Lillian's library that are all about art! I'll be starting with , "invisible boy" from Shel Silverstein's "Where the Sidewalk Ends", followed by " Kenya's Art, Recycle! Reuse! Make Art!" by Linda Trice with illustrations by Hazel Mitchell. After that I'll share the wild and wonderful "Art and Max" by 3 time Caldecott Medal winner David Wiesner, and finally a little poem from "When We Were Very Young" by A.A. Milne with decorations by Ernest H. Shepard, entitled, "the alchemist".
