រឿងនិទានខ្លីនេះបានបង្រៀនឱ្យយល់ពីការលះបង់ដ៏ធំធេងរបស់ស្វាមីចាស់ចំពោះភរិយា ខណៈភរិយាមិនយល់ពីតម្លៃនៃការលះបង់នេះទេ ថែមទាំងប្រព្រឹត្តកន្លងចិត្តស្វាមីទៀតផង ។ លើសពីនេះ រឿងនេះក៏បានបង្ហាញអំពីប្រាជ្ញាដ៏វាងវៃរបស់បណ្ឌិតពោធិសត្វ ក្នុងការជួយដោះស្រាយចំណោទបញ្ហារបស់ព្រាហ្មណ៍ចាស់ជាស្វាមីរបស់នាងព្រាហ្មណី។
