My very old account was hacked, banned, then purged in the passing of time. RIP "Steelbreaker of doom" you will be missed but the childhood memories will remain for me.

I've been in a long, protracted war with Nythera in specific over my old account from 12 years ago, despite providing all the information I possibly could without the original email (which was lost due to me being a dumb kid at the time), so I can somewhat relate to the situation. But it has never gotten to the point of me attacking AE/hacking them. It's simply me and a very b****y purple girl duking it out on the regular for an account that, if I was anyone else, would have had by now.

And during this going on nythera had time to check my old logins locaitons and dates and get ancient accounts back for me that I didn't have conventional proof for

Ah Nythera, playing favorites and sucking at her job, as usual.

rip my 2011 account, the time when i asked them to recover, it didnt work out as the email got changed by the hacker, now nobody use it, the hacker took my account and just let it rot there lol

Don't tell me the name of the "account" that the hackers wanna get because I think AE wants this to be hush hush but why would they want this specific account to be in their control? Is it personal sentimentality or does this has something in it like admin access or what?

So basically it's all about nothing?

14:55 one time i ran into a room with a guy who could 1shot anything after a about 10 seconds after a monster respawned, they didnt have like a chrono or anything, I mean true 1 shot, consistently. Maybe something like that?

You could spam the server with a code to do dmg, let's say for example spam the effect of power world die but you will get banned pretty fast

There are dozens of in game moderator accounts that have been abandoned by people who have simply moved on with their lives. Stuff like this is bound to happen seeing as AE isnt too concerned with stripping accounts of their staff status.

if a database got breached, thousands of accounts would be off in an instant. I doubt it is the case. besides, usually passwords are not saved directly in the database so we'd probably be safe

anyone find out what account they wanted so badly?

didnt they just start renting? seems like an opportune time for people to be paranoid that they left passwords written somewhere
