The right and left hemispheres of the brain are barely attached, thus prohibiting the pre-frontal cortex to undergo a rational decision-making process. Yo I was in a situation just like this!!! I was messing with this boy since I was 16 going on 17 & I stopped messing with him a little bit after I turned 18. I had actually gotten pregnant by him. I found out about the "side chick" (really it was his other girlfriend) by her messaging me on Facebook. The message went a little something like "I'm sure you know who I am, you may not know me personally but I'm so & so's girlfriend. I have been his girlfriend for 4 YEARS. The phone you have been texting is mine, not his. He got into his feelings the other night & informed me that you are pregnant. I wanted to let you know that I AM ALSO PREGNANT." Smh so I told her what it was, I told her that he told me he loved ME & I had no clue who the fuck she was. We ended up exchanging screenshots of text messages from him which proved that he basically was playing the both of us for years. She ended up having the baby & they are still together. (Mind you he had another baby with another girl while he was with her). I ended up miscarrying :( but I see it as a blessing in disguise, God knew that this man was not worthy of fathering my child. & I met the man that I am currently with and want to be with 3 months later :) :) :)

good for you, that's alot to handle at that age. sad what men put women through. if you want to have multiple women don't get into a relationship and most definitely don't sleep with several ppl unprotected just disgusting.

She was 28? Wth!!! I'm 28 and I barely look dudes 4-5 years younger than me, let alone 10. What the fuck did she want with an 18 year old? She sounds desperate and childish as hell. They deserved each other.

It would sound like she was but the girl knew who she was but Aaliyah didn't know that girl so clearly that girl was the side chick... If I was that girl with the baby knowing that he's talking to another girl sleeping with me I would be mad but it seems like she didn't care as long as she was still sleeping with him

+Sydney Symonee I had a situation where this boyfriend of 4 years just dropped my ass over text. And that hurt I felt like I needed rehab I was in the state of death! Maybe you should get something/someone to distract you. That's the best, and try to make your days eventful. I know there's days where you don't wanna get out of bed and you just don't wanna get in the shower and go out, but do it. And it doesn't even have to be an event. Chill with some friends, persue your hobbies, have fun, change your hair, even if you're forcing yourself even if it takes hours, as long as you do it, that's going to show you how much more to life there is than some boy who doesn't know how amazing you are. It might end up in a situation where he ends up leaving you, and that's even more painful. Rather be the one who's gonna leave him and move forward with life. But distract yourself, I promise it really works!

Sasha U Self respecting not self righteous. Of course we all make mistakes but I wish more women (and men as well) would stop wasting time on people who aren't even worth the time of day. I understand that love can make you do some crazy things (if she even loved this dumb ass) but there were so many red flags that she should've jumped ship sooner. Its easier said than done but sometimes you have to put your feelings aside and look at your relationship. If your pleased with it then continue, if not then its time to cut the cord. She clearly wasn't happy but continued to second guess herself.
