Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life Review - The Perfect Remake?

A Wonderful Life is one Story of Seasons title that genuinely lives up to its name. Prior games in the series - and when I say prior, I mean those before the release of the original version of this game back on the GameCube in 2003 - put the focus squarely on farming, with making friends and courtship positioned as side activities to keep players busy between harvests. In A Wonderful Life, those elements are the core of the experience. Yes, you’ll still spend roughly half your time tending to crops and livestock as you would in any other Story of Seasons game, (and the farming system can get somewhat deep with hybrid crops and animal husbandry to consider), but nothing you do on this farm matters if you go home to an empty house and an empty bed at the end of the day.

i had no idea they were releasing this remake. harvest moon: a wonderful & another wonderful life have always been my all time favourite games. i’m so happy i discovered this only days before it’s release! - i cannot wait! ❤
I wish they kept the caring for animals mechanic wher you treat them if they get sick. And better graphics. Otherwise I am so hype for this!
I never got to play the original, so I’m so excited for this to come out!

never got to play this game in gamecube since i started on gba and ds era (i played hmfomt, hmmfomt, all of DS hm games and the sos fomt on switch) so i decided to pre-order this! and june 27th couldn't get any faster? =)

Is the rain still heavy and hard to see through? It's one of my favourite things from the original.
The fact that they are calling this a perfect remake is just downright delusional... It is definitely NOT a good remake - especially in this era of gaming where we have true remakes in the same vein as Resident Evil 4 (where they really build things from the ground up and introduce new mechanics and gameplay). The additions to this game are very minimal quality of life changes at best, and is mostly just a visual upgrade. However, there is nothing truly innovative here that pushes the boundary of this game. A lot of the gameplay complaints that you might have from the original game will still be found here. As a huge fan of the series I see this as a total nostalgia cash-grab and I am very disappointed with the $50 price that I spent to play this game.

Fair. I would even argue the graphics are a downgrade. The original had style but now everything and everyone is super generic looking.
Binary and other woke junk, Sounds like another game to pass on. A shame people cater to delusions.
