Loving the podcast! I'm from Australia, and totally understand where you are coming from when Damian you were talking about the decision of when you have children and the array of opportunities they would have in Australia over Indonesia, in particular in regards to schooling. My husband is Balinese, and spoke about that before I made the decision to call Indonesia my permanent home, before moving we spoke to my family and came to the agreement that when my children are at the age where they start high school, they would move back to Australia, broadening their horizons especially if they decided to go to University. My eldest daughter lived in Australia for 2 years, and still after living in Bali for 5 years she still talks about being able to go to the park/playground, nothing beats an Australian playground!
