I live in a nursing home and found that “how to relax with my dog “ video a month ago. After I stopped laughing hysterically I shared it with everybody! We have all now seen most of Lucky’s videos, and we were crushed to know that such a special dog had passed on. My baby puppy chihuahua was EXACTLY like Lucky, he did the exact same snarl kisses. He passed away in Oct of 2020 after 20 years of grumpy love. I miss him every day. His snuggle pillow and blanket are still lying in the same spot next to my bed. These beautiful angels really touch our hearts.

Yep. We had a chihuahua that loved to fake bite our hands and feet and fake growl during feeding. It was fun for her. She never bit any of us hard. It was just her way of playing with us. She has since passed away at the age of 17. And we still miss her.

Really you don’t owe anyone an explanation, but I’m glad you did because I just recently came upon the videos. People are so quick to judge without even knowing the story. I know Lucky was loved ❤️

I lost my chihuahua Poppy in 2014. I still miss her. She was a little ball of anxiety, toughness, and love. She didn't like most people but was very protective of babies and small children (even towards their parents!) She was a little beast with a heart of gold. She reminds me of Lucky. RIP to Lucky and my own little goblin Princess Poppy Flower 🌺

Watching this makes me feel such a strange happy sadness, because I know how hard it must be to not have him in your lives, in your laps. When I was a kid, we found a pekingese wandering with a leash around his neck. Same thing with him and the biting. I used to pretend to run away from him in fear and he would chase me all around the house growling.

Same thing with our Shih-Poo/Dachshund mix dog. She tends to bite, although not at full force, when she doesn't like to be touched or just wants to be alone and we just leave it like that.

That's really common for them. That's kind of how they process a lot of stimulus at once. Other than the shaking, he didn't seem all that bothered.

Starving on the side of the road! Poor guy. That must be why they named him Lucky, since it's lucky they found him when they did.

I hope Lucky is doing alright in his little paradise 🥰 The amount of happiness Lucky gave us was astonishing tbh! 😎

Ahh, he reminds me of my own unrepentant bastard animal, Maxwell. They all have their reasons for being the way they are, and it doesn't make them bad. Lucky was so clearly a happy, healthy, beloved boy, and seeing his videos brings a smile to my face and warmth to my heart. Thank you for rescuing him and giving him such a wonderful life.

Such a cute little dog, wonderful of your family to give him a loving home.

The Internet is a cruel place. I'm glad this dog had sweet owners and loved him till the very end.

After my lifelong dogpanion died, I sunk into a deep hole and didn't dig out until I rescued Bishop, who we thought was a rat terrier. Turns out he's a lab-chihuahua mix...he is 50lbs of hot mess and the original Lucky video makes our family laugh and gives us some bearing as we navigate life with a demon dog. Every day one us says "I pet my dog!". We also have a special needs daughter and, for all the haters out there, love ONLY grows bigger when you open your heart up and challenge your perception of normal. Thank you for sharing Lucky with all of us and I'm sorry for your loss.

People tend to over do it with the negative comments. It was very obvious Lucky was a spoiled boy and that you guys loved him very much. Thank you for sharing this sweet tribute of him. Thank you for the laughs you provided us with in his other videos. We miss him too 😣

We have a puppy mill escapee, but he was a breeder. He was wanting to love everyone but he had moments where he snapped from trauma. If he felt cornered or like his food was going to be taken he’d bite and growl so violently. He’s much better but some people don’t understand that not all dogs come from good situations and just like how some humans never recover from trauma, some dogs never recover but they still deserve love ❤

My Pomeranian had a similar tendency as Lucky. It was just him. He wasn't afraid to exhibit this behavior, nor did he choose to take it to the extreme. Some people judge without understanding, some because they'll cause pain where there's joy. I miss my Pomeranian and hope another like him will find me. Lucky truly was.

I love chihuahuas even if they are angry. They are scared, everything is larger than they are. They are very brave for trying to stand up for themselves.

My girlfrieend wrestles with our little chihuahua almost every day. The healthiest stray dog, that became a member of our family. Now going on for 9 years. Barking, growling is the healthiest thing for chihuahuas to do.

Ya know, it's like Lucky was trying out for the live-action version of Freakazoid. He was going to be Foamy, the Freakadog!

You didn't deserve any hate! He's brought laughter to millions! Ignore the trolls. You saved his life and taught him to live.

I had a chihuahua that I fostered for a rescue, he had actually been returned twice by other fosters for his aggressive behavior. I was not told any of this until I picked him up from the vet for the rescue and the vet tech handed me his leash and said “He’s sassy!” That’s the only info I got to prepare me for what I was in for. He was aggressive with everyone except me (unless I was giving him his eye meds then he’d attack me like that). I had him as a “forever foster” (as they eventually deemed him as unadoptable due to his aggression) for 5 yrs until he passed away (he was 15), he is one of my favorite pets. We were so close. Miss him so much. Ty for the video.

paul rugg this is like reading a bible of my most favorite animal, dogs, i love dogs so much that i even have 2 dogs and i adore them so much, although lucky may not be with us in person, he will be with us in spirit and always live in our hearts and love us all for loving him i hope he has a nice afterlife in chihuahua heaven up there, i shall hope the best for him up there.

My Bitty Boy passed away a year ago. I adopted him when he was about 3 months old. He was 18 1/2 years old when he passed. These little chi's are fierce but so loving. I miss him every day. Lucky was, well, lucky to have been found by you all.
