In this video, Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, a politically and socially active woman at the time, was the beautiful wife of the late business tycoon and respected politician, Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola. Her struggles, efforts and the tireless support she gave to her husband, M.K.O Abiola, when he was incarcerated led to his untimely death. On June 4, 1996, Kudirat Abiola was assassinated in Lagos by armed men allegedly acting on orders from Sani Abacha's military junta.
