At that time arjun went to search for divyastra as per the instructions received from Lord krishna and karn went for Vijay yatra to won neighbour king and when rishi Durvasa came to hastipapur how duryodhan and mama shakuni devoted to serve rishi durvasa, duryodhan was not pleased to serve rishi durvasa but at that time pandav were more religious to serve dharma, not to angry upon their misfortune. When maharshi ved vyas came to hastinapur and said to dhritrashtra that only you are responsible for Pandav's vanvas and be prepared when pandav vanvas will end after thirteen years. Its your duty to made understand your son duryodhan to settle the conflict between kaurav and pandav. You may punished duryodhan if he doesn't obey the rule of king. As per mama shakuni's instructions Duryodhan went for picnic neat to pandav's vanvas and took shelter near to pandav's hut as that kaurav may criticize the pandav's fate. Once duryodhan saw the gandharv rajkumari and tried to molestation her.
Then gandharv were not ready to tolerate the insult of their Princess, they took charge to punish duryodhan by attacking his shelter and arrest duryodhan.
