Thank you for this video. Very well done! I guess I’m just not ever going to understand the reasoning behind the WCTH script choices but their acting was rewarding so Lucas and Jeannette’s story took the season.❤ Worthy.

Glad you enjoyed it 🥰❤️ I don’t understand either about changing Jeanette's character. In the end, those two brought the scenes to different levels. The tension, the frustration, the worry, and the danger, all in one package. What an amazing acting by those two 😍👏🙌

We could of asked Jane Seymour but she's a better fit for Joe Lando on Dr Quinn Medicine Woman and in real life they couldn't stand each other at first on Dr Quinn Medicine Woman but later became friends they did use to date but they've married other people

@@bhd7721 I mean Julie Gonzalo, Chris's real-life partner. Not Julie, Elizabeth’s sister 😂. Many actors who are a couple on TV can’t stand each other. But they do it anyway due to being professional. The viewers like them so they want to please the viewers.

@@priscooper7166 It's hard to open your heart again especially when you've been hurt by someone whom you thought loved you back and on top of that someone that you once loved tried to kill you so yes it'll be hard to open up to love again look at Elizabeth she did an excellent job opening herself up to love again and she hurt a man that actually loves her along the way. How sad and cruel on her part that was for Elizabeth to do that to Lucas 😢Lucas loved her the way Jack Thornton once loved her and she going to picked the man that reminds her and us of her late husband Jack Thornton how much sense does that make🙄

And when Lucas set her free to decided whom she truly loves why didn't she picked Nathan then instead of running after Lucas and crying like she lost Jack Thornton all over again the way that she did? How rude and cruel of her? Lucas and Elizabeth belong together romantically Nathan and Elizabeth doesn't
Some of the best acting this season was in this episode. Chris is phenomenal. Cecelia was great too
I wish that she wasn’t a bad person ,,I thought she suited Lucas so well ,,they look good together ,, and she adds something to the show

@@jacquelyncanada9785 I’m not shocked if Chris was surprised. Jeanette’s character is supposed to be an old poor widow. But the new showrunner changed it to make Lucas lie when he said he helped an old poor widow Jeanette from Dixon. TPTB changed it to tarnish JT’s work. But the good side is Chris and Cecilia made the scene spectacular with their outstanding acting.

If it weren't for what it said about Lucas's character and the change (retcon) of his backstory, this would have been an interesting storyline to pursue. As it stands, it breaks my heart because of what they put Lucas through this season. Because of what they put him through last season. They forever changed our story and sadly, it's their show now. Not the same. Jeanette was even retconned. This wasn't who she was before. She was a friend. A widow. A victim. And then a Treasury employee out to get grifters, not a grifter herself. Makes me wonder if they watched anything about Lucas or just decided to flip it. Regardless, Chris and Cecelia were wonderful in these roles. The whole thing will always make me sad though. So right about Jeanette being retconned! Brilliant. That manipulation by the writers shows their season 11 desperation. This is why when I hear interviews with them, in particular Sturman, talk about how they consulted the WCTH history and have deferred to a particular writer in the room who has been with the show longest, to bring authenticity to the story lines, I laugh-it's better than cry. They have done nothing to honor the characters' pasts, present, or future. And, they have certainly undermined the attention spans and dedication of so many fans. They are just lucky Chris McNally and Cecilia Deacon can act. I truly hope this was all worth their plan, if they even have one.

Thank you so much 🥰❤️ I agree. I never pictured Jeanette as a villain, especially as a leader mafia/mobster. JT has never pictured her like that. Bravo to Chris and Cecilia for delivering the scenes with their outstanding performance. The acting of those two needs to be acknowledged. Although they were not the main of the story, they stole the show. Chris and Cecilia should be proud of themselves 👏

I agree totally. Every picture that I see Lucas in, he just looks so sad and broken. His demeanor this season has been so.what callous and it just breaks my heart that he was hurt so badly. Yet he continued to be the perfect gentleman defending E and the town. 😢 I just pray they improve things for him next season. I only watch for him and a few other great characters. They certainly did ruin this story.

Even though Lucas has turned out to be an honest, trustworthy, kind, and generous character in Hope Valley, when he first arrived there was a lot of question marks about him. He seemed to have loads of money, and it was never really addressed where it came from. If he was trying to leave his past behind it would make sense why he wasn’t totally transparent about Jeanette and how he knew her.

@@lisacoy9952 the problem is the story about Jeanette was created by two different showrunners. JT portrayed Jeanette as a poor old widow woman who needed help and LS described her as a young stunning elegant woman yet she is manipulative and evil. Don’t ask me why. About the money. LB won the prize after he beat Dixon when they played poker. Where is the money now? I assume he donated to the town.
Their acting is great. It's sad that they chose to make Jeanette such a bad person. I was expecting her to be different. Hopefully Lucas gets his wife Julie as his match in the show. That would be great to see her and him paired.

Right. They did it to tarnish JT’s work. But it turned out well for Chris and Cecilia because they showed us their acting skills. Those two stole the show 😍 I hope Julie will join the Heartie too. Maybe after LB is healed from sadness. He had been through a lot 🥹

At least Rosemary didn't turn out to be a killer Noone liked her either she's Nuisance but I like her she grew on me I love the moments between her and Lee together romantically ❤ Lee loved Rosemary just the way she is❤ Goldie is so Precious and adorable 😊😀 her mother would of so proud of her granddaughter.

@@bhd7721 it is the showrunner and writers that made Jeanette bad. I do blame them. I find the writing is awful. They are wiping out what happened between Lucas and Elizabeth as well as trying to prove N to be a better man that what he is. I still despise him. I will not change my mind. I am so disgusted with the kissing and romance scenes of E and N. I despise that they focus so much on them. I never liked him since the beginning. He acted like a jerk towards Lucas and his intervention to stop E supporting Lucas for Governor is cold and selfish. E also became cold, dishonest, and selfish. I saw too much toxic scenes in s10

They can’t because she is a leader of a mafia/mobster. Mafia does money laundry, they distribute drugs, and they kill people even their own family. She is too dangerous and she won’t change. The reason she didn't kill Lucas is because she still loves him and she hopes Lucas will join her gang. Thank goodness Lucas has changed. He isn’t interested in joining hers and he doesn’t love her anymore.

Those fans don’t realize how dangerous the mafia is. They need to watch the movie Untouchable by Kevin Costner, the TV show Sopranos, or watch the documentary about Al Capone. Those are some examples of how brutal the mafia is.
