How can you make a video about gems and sets for the Crusader?

This is a really good review! At release, my main negative thought about Stormvault was its movement speed, but in Battlegrounds, it makes you run away from it, which really interrupts your flow. If you get caught by it, though, it works very well, as you explained. Even if you don't want to rank this gem up, it's a very good gem to use as an Auxiliary, and I think I might even try to get this gem to Rank 6 since I have almost all of the gems that complement it. Thank you for the in-depth explanation.

It's great to see you here, Habo! Can't blame you. At first glance, I thought exactly the same. Travel speed seems to be clunky and easy to avoid. However, Stormvoult appears exactly on the target and outperforms any other "additional source of damage gem" which makes it useful even if opponents is able to get out of its range after a while. Definitely, you should try to use it as auxiliary and eventually rank it up if you like it. The second bonus is important, either. Can't wait for your final opinion 👍🫡

I guess it will also work very well with grace. Its a bit too niche for me since it is too weak in PvE so I will not go for it myself :/ Great video btw! :D

It's good if u can afford multiple 5 star. If u HV to choose only 1 5 star the nothing beat roiling consequences 😅for low spender😅

As always VK this is video editing masterclass 😮. I know that this is a lot of work and im realy gratefull that you provide us with such high quality content. The gem synergy is so important, and this one is rly something!

My stormvault is at rank 8 now. One of my highest damage dealing gem and works great in pvp with roiling.

I was one of the only person who was saying the gem is good, while everyone else kept attacking me for being SOLD OUT person for blizzard. Not only that, even shared my progression and couple of different different videos where I showcase the gem and ppl kept telling me I am trying to hard to sell this trash gem.

Hello Apo. Any regrets about using stormvault? Btw Some people say exactly same about me after I joined partner program. However I don't mind it. Still trying to give people proper arguments and theorycrafts. Eventually anyone is able to confirm if there is any sense.

@@vk.videos No regrets at all. My main reason for getting this was for PvP. Since I play as a wizard, mostly with support type builds, This gem as utility work very well for me. I'm using the new Freeze build, and when I use my Arcane Wind, it freezes players who then get hit by StormVault. On top of that, my 4-piece Grace does additional damage, so it's like having an extra skill for me. Additionally, since I have Roiling too, it synergizes greatly with Arcane Wind and StormVault. Even if players aren't hit directly, it's still quite effective. Melee players can fight on idols to push or stop it from moving. Most players run away from StormVault, and it has a quite large radius too. Now that my gem is at rank 8, players who try to tank the damage quickly find out it was a bad move lol. Overall, it's a good gem, and I believe in the upcoming weeks and months it will become more popular.

​@ApollyonGaming no doubt that for new wizard build sotrmvault is great due to the enormously heavy CC this build provides but along with maw of the deep it becomes accessible for anyone. As you said staying even for the half of its duration in might be painful. I would love to see some whales to try this configuration, it has potential to become new meta.

Having the gem almost at rank 8 as well. Loved it since the beginning, ignored the hate and I am very happy with it. Perfect synergy with all my gems and a works very well in pve and pvp!

I’ve been using SV and Maw as aux gems for pvp (Starfire, Roiling, Void already equiped in my gear, I have the aux gems inserted in my Gloom and Echoing) such a good combo on my DH.

i use the same gem as yours lucky to drop 5/5 Stormvault gem during the event .😍

It works really well with the new WIzard freeze build

Using a Wizard with that legendary gem loadout would be awesome considering the amount of lightning attacks and fast channeled attacks it has

Actually, stormvault compliments less frequent builds. Gems load out from my video work independently and are versatile for anyone.

Great video and in depth analysis, as usual. Really wish I would have gone for this gem during the bonus drop. Using it as auxiliary for my Howlers. Relatively new to Sader so how would I get shock effects with that class?

Thank you. As far as I remember from the last update, one of the new essences provides shock. Gonna swith to crus soon since I believe this gem configuration will be perfect for him due to the lack of serious pvp dmg. We will see.

effective on bosses! damage surge high when starfire procs along with stormvault with roiling or lament... boom!!!

The best thing is that roiling always procs along with stormvault. There is no way to separate these two gems. As well as void spark and maw. Starfire might be a little bit late, but with such hit frequency, it's a fraction of a second

It is also a great synergy to get more money from people. All gems for this synergy are new gems.

To be a little bit more precise, stormvault provides solid arguments to use other gems you were not convinced to. But yeah, in general, someone who stays behind stormvault idea did great marketing work.

I'm so glad everyone disregards this gems, the price on it during the 50% event was ridiculous. I managed to build a rank 7 as f2p. It's a rank that was inconceivable to me before. I love what it's doing on the battlefield, it's like a giant rumba that pushes players away. Also, a lot new players got this gem for free and use it; which makes everyone thinks it doesn't do any dmg. You can even heal up in those weak storms. What I love, is that a lot players just walk into my storm to find only regrets.😁

Do any of you remember in Diablo 2 the Auradin if you use these gems in combination with each other it is very similar and would be badass with the Fist of Heavens and I'm currently working on the build for my crusader. Let the gems do work for you.

Storm vault with maw is actually really good when they hit at the same time amd with tempest it's even better

Yes it does but only for the secondary bonus. Same for void spark (first bonus in this case)

Imo very outdated idea. Since then we have a lot of huge range skills. No point to use void for that.
