By the way, each turn when your troops advance they move the front line closer to the enemy base. The closest you could get is 1 tile from their base. The bottom left number is the strength of the unit: if it is 8 then the unit has 8 strength and you have to deal 8 damage to it using either troops or spells, or both. The bottom right is the movement: if it says 2 then it means when the unit is deployed it moves 2 tiles forward. All units only advance 1 tile on the start of each of your turns, regardless of their movement, on future turns.

In Stormbound you get 1 additional mana at the start of each of your turns. If you go first then you start with 3 mana. If you go after your opponent you start with 4 mana.

The bad thing about this game? There is a " daily limit " on how much gold one can get from matches. The game play is fine and entertaining, still, it is a card game, and with every card game, there is also power creep, it would be a miracle if there never is. It is a little bit pay-to-win, due to the prices being quite high. One should not aim for quality payments in such games, but for quantity. If the prices are lowered to a dollar, there would be many, many, many more who would be willing to spend it, and those who still want to give five, would still give five. That, and the limit on gold gained, makes the game from a firm 7 out of 10 to 5 out of 10, maybe even four.

@@visibletoallusersonyoutube5928 If the daily limit remains, my opinion also remains. Further more, about two years after I wrote that comment, I checked the game again, and it most definitely power creeped. Now it's been five years since then, and the power creep must be even bigger.

@@TheInfamousDarkTroll Pokemon limits power creep by forcing the new generation of cards being the only ones allowed in competitive play. As much as I hate the change of restrictions I hate power creep even more. Pokemons supposed theory was old cards are still relevant for casual play. Which in my limited experience it seems valid. Though there is still a small creep.

Did you not even use victors of melee? Victors of melee are best for 2 strength enemies surrounding you.

Dont place the units near the enemy base blames the game for not being able to place the units near the enemy base when u r able to.

Other TCGs requires a deck of 30-60 cards to play while this game requires close to 100+ cards to make a deck competitive because of it's upgrade system. Knowing this, would you still say it isn't pay to win compared to other TCGs?

It’s pay to win, but if you’re patient, you can treat it like an RPG, slowly getting your cards stronger. I quite enjoy that aspect, though getting brutally mismatched feels pretty awful. You don’t need legendaries to win though at least. I opened my 1st recently. I tried it for a few games because “ooh legendary!” I quickly sidelined that sucker.
