"Storm Shadow" Daniel's FK8 Civic Type R | 4K

The first thought that comes to mind when seeing Daniel's build is, "Stand out from the Crowd". And that is exactly what this enthusiast's FK8 does. Every part that was put into this Type R made it even more and more unique. The custom painted, carbon fiber lip from Evasive Motorsports and the Seibon hood with custom vents are few of many examples. Even the Mugen side skirts, have side skirts! Proof that attention to detail is literally everywhere on this machine.
However, he didn't just stop at the looks and exterior functionality. Even the J's Racing exhaust has been customized. Well thought-out components under the hood, e85, and a solid tune pushes this Type R to 43Xhp with no problem.
If there were an FK8 that someone would call goals, this would be a prime example.

Looks good but IMO would look much better with an all black or carbon fiber hood. What size tires are you running? currently looking at getting some wheels/tires for my R

Might wanna ditch the blow off valve though. Sounds so sweet but apparently not good for engine unless you’ve moved the sensor somehow. And if you have let us know what you did please! 😁👍

@@MTNxxx I’ve read and heard some things regarding the BOV. I still don’t have an answer on the HKS BOV and it’s location. If you know something I don’t please explain cause I want one for sure if there’s no issue.

@@NvSrAgE679 I run a tourqe solutions bov I've had it sense 10k miles I'm almost at 50k rn I've driven my car in all kinds of conditions I've beat the piss out of it in the mountains at the tail of the dragon I've done time attack at road atl in 100 degree weather and I daily my car about 100 miles for work every day I get my car checked out by a tuner about every month sense I'm tuned I wanna make sure it's running healthy I've never had an issue my car will run rich for about a second but is fine after I'm not saying it can't cause an issue but modifying your car in general is a risk my car could blow up tomorrow cause of some dumb failed that couldn't have been avoided tuned or not honestly I'm more worried about the oil delusion the 1.5ts have than my bov causing issues but if you're that worried about it just get a CAI I'm just speaking from experience and from what a pro tuner has told me I don't believe all these little internet mechanics on the forums 😂
