He's the protagonist of Fatal Fury game and anime as well as manga series. Fatal Fury team builds up of Terry and his brother Andy Bogard, alongside their good friend Joe Higashi. The team was inivted to join the ultimate tournament called King of Fighters (also an arcade game). While Geese Howard is his arch enemy who also killed his father, Jeff Bogard.

Glad I got the Storm Street Fighter figures. Their bulk and design give them more presence on display over the SHFiguarts version. This looks pretty nice too.

It would have been 10/10 if they included a removable hat for his victory pose.

Consider best Terry Bogard for now after D-Arts. Was a long dream for me and finally thanks to Storm Collectibles. Can't wait for Geese Howard (I'm over excited) next and hope they can complete Fatal Fury Team for me, although unlikely.

Storm Collectibles recently announced in their product catalogue that they are making one.

Without looking at official heights, I'm interpreting the scale difference as Ryu being Japanese and shorter and Terry being big tall American man.

The scale here is actually fine, to be honest, their newer figures all are bigger than their first few releases, the S2 Ryu scales pretty damn well considering Ryu is 5'9 Terry and iori are both 6'0. Kyo is slightly too tall he is 5'11 but honestly when you kind of factor in shoes it's not off honestly, plus if you pose them up that slight difference is basically not bad at all.

Only thing this release is missing is an additional head with a removable hat, so I completely agree with the 9/10 rating. Storm truly knocked it out of the park with this one, to the point that I think they need to release a Street Fighter III Ryu that matches this quality.

Only one word comes to mind when people see this Storm Collectibles - awesome!

I like that Storm gives us 2 each or extra parts. Like my MK cyrax came with 3 extra dreads, very cool I thought but didn't think I needed them until I noticed cyrax was missing a dread and im glad them extra ones came with it.

Storm does it again & this time with less flaws. As a fan of Terry, I'm happy it turned out good. Gonna try to get it down the line, when I have the budget.

You know what, I still don't have a single Storm action figure and for an action figure collector as myself that is unforgivable. I'm going to grab some this month. Thanks for the review Anthony.

Terry is a grail piece for me, very happy to hear Storm did such a good job! Also learned recently they're planning on making Geese Howard as well; gonna make a heckuva display! Great review as always!

Wish this had the one stringed backpack like the D-arts did.

I wish the Street Fighter dudes would look as lean as the KoF guys. I like the SFV designs for the most part, but I feel like the lack of shading makes the ripped but thicc aesthetic look more chubby than badass.

You mean SFII right? Their SFV line were just as lean and muscular as the current KoF figures. As for the SFII, it's only Ryu and Ken who have that chubby look. I think its the gi and the legs that really make them look to girthy.

I put them together, in my mind Ryu is 5'10 and Terry is 6'2 (but the wiki says he's 5'11 which seems off to me)

Terry has never been 6"2'. Terry's height has always been 182cm which is ever so slightly under 6"0' feet. So he's around five-eleven and 3 quarters.

I found the beginning pretty interesting, for what it's worth. When it comes to lines like these, one of the first things I want to know is how it looks compared to the rest of the line; and I also appreciate the Ryu size comparison. Glad you like the figure; Storm is my favourite figure company. I just wish their range of female figures was as wide as their male range, and I'm surprised they haven't done a default costume SFV Cammy yet.

Liked the review and after watching it, he has all those heads but he can't take off his hat? I'm not a super die hard fan but that's kind of an iconic pose he can be in. That is kind of a bummer alongside with the ponytail

My ponytails clip in just fine. The no hat is a bummer though.

I thought Terry Bogards knees looked a bit flat when he was in a pose, but then the character is stylised I imagine and based on video game artwork, I suppose with this figure it’s accurate to the artwork, but not accurate to actual human framework, I’m looking forward to this release , he’s on his way to me in the UK!

That giant effect is super cool! Having blonde hair it could use a wash and make It stand out easily. Awesome review!

I honestly don't think, as someone who gave the figure a "wash" treatment, the hair actually really needs it. The color works for the hair. The blues and reds definitely needed it.

I just got this figure yesterday... still haven't opened it up😁

I don’t mind the Size differences between the different figures, they’re close enough to look normal standing on a shelf together

raidenkeify yea the new mk ninjas are nice, but I honestly don’t mind the original ones either, I have most of the figures and I havnt been disappointed yet, other than how the violent Ken and evil ryu splitting apart when you move the legs, but they still look cool on a shelf

I was having trouble with the stranded head putting ponytails. The other heads fit way better

Probably just luck. Pvc is a less than precise material.

Terry has so many versions that's hard to tell the differences. The Power Geiser is perfect.

It looks good enough to me, I can't wait to place him next to my Storm Collectibles Guile, as that was my team on Cap Vs. SNK. Good stuff!

Now I won't have to take my D-Arts figure out of its original packaging!

He looks great. I'm an old Fatal Fury fan. I'd love to get all the SF and KOF storm figures but they are so expensive. 😑

To be fair to Storm on the Scaling of the Street Fighter characters ro the KOF fighters Ryu is 5'9 while Kyo is 5'11 and Terry is 6'0 so Ryu being alitle bit shorter is actually in scale.

Inconsistency in scales and pricing is putting me off Storm figures. When they got all those licenses I was all in, fighting games characters all in the same style/scale was a dream come true, but they don’t all mix as well as I’d hoped. And why are the SNK figures so much more expensive??

As far as Terry is concerned, he has huge ass effect pieces and all of the current KoF figs have a huge section of an effect for Rugal.

For the longest time it seemed like only the latino and japanese fighting game communities knew about Terry and SNK, now... still no one outside of them knows because "Terry bad he shouldn't have been added I hate input fighters even though I don't play as them"

Yes! Finally! Heroic Aether is the best pose. Terry still has no cheeks, though.

a 4 inch difference in "actual" height would be 1/4 of an inch for the figures. That's a 3 inch difference and more than 1/4 of an inch.

I was about to say the same thing. There's tons of accessories and huge effect pieces included with this figure. You definitely don't feel cheated when the box is in hand.

Why do you say it's overpriced? The extensive articulation engineering, unique molds, wide range of accessories, size of accessories, or overall quality? All of those things have cost.

AnthonysCustoms I know, but I don’t think it should b $80+! Back in the 2000’s, Toy Biz Marvel Legends had shit ton of articulation, great detail, accessories, a nice bubble package and a comic book for like $15. Sure, nowadays most of those figures look dated, but still. Gotta love inflation 🙄
