That PIA pilot made it look easy. Hands down all pilots are very talented.

yh true, Fun Fact: some PIA pilots were actually part of the Pakistani Air Force!
I decided to go to Birmingham instead of Gatwick . Usually more actions at BHX. 9:24 Nice Capture ! ( I did missed that departure ) We did filmed the same airplanes but from different directions . Beautiful footage !
The commuter prop at 7:50 gave the port side passengers a unique view of the runway...

Still in all a really soft landing, especially given how twitchy turboprops can be in a crosswind!

Excellent landing, right on the centerline. And with one of the lightest aircrafts of this compilation!
Thanks for braving the storms for that footage - superb! The pilot's earned their keep yesterday! Get it down and keep it stuck! Or if it ain't looking/feeling right, bin it and go around. Sweaty palms!

Brit By name Hi! it is good fun sideslipping or crabbing, I suspect its the same for AL pilots, upwind wing and wheel down and get it stuck. They earn their keep!
I think the last 5 TO/landings are amazing. Surprised the tires dont blow skidding like that! Outstanding job Elwyn!
Great filming in bloody aweful conditions, and a big thumbs up to the pilots flying in that weather.
Those 380’s are masterpieces.......landing that well in that storm..

@123456 774 apparently the A380's are too expensive to continue using. The airline companies who use them are cancelling orders or not ordering them anymore. Too big and hard to fill all the seats. It's a damn shame because they're my favorite. Hope I can ride in one someday before they're all phased out.
Bravo, brave and experienced Pilots. This was a very unusual weather event, with 400kpm windspeed at 30, 000 feet, a wind-shear on the ground. Terrific job of cool and calm flying in the extreme!
Thanks for posting Sir great footage of pilots earning their wage. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🛸🛸👍👍
And all landed safely...I used to be a nervous flyer...at one time the most scared person on the plane....honest! Not anymore...after numerous flights now, I just find it very thrilling...To all the nervous flyers.....Don't be! Just enjoy...this stuff is absolutely very, very safe !

I went on a Virgin Flying Without Fear course in March 2007 and flew to New Zealand the following weekend! It worked a treat, as I had only flown once before - 34 years earlier to Benidorm. I've flown several times since and always been fine. Love the landings - odd innit!!
I've been fortunate enough to be on that 380 landing at BHX in the mornings. It was extraordinary. My house is under its flight path too, which is about 5 minutes out from the airport if on a plane, about 30 minutes by car :D I have so much respect for the staff on planes. Emirates were so lovely. Much love, light and blessings to everyone here xxx
Looks like great airport to get shots at. That A380 takeoff was incredible

It is a great place to get good shots. There is a public footpath and picnic area just over the perimeter fence, on a sunny day lots of people get out there.

An extraordinary sight here in Christchurch NZ the other day as an Emirates A380 was coming in to land as I was driving in the opposite direction. Our respective speeds (mine 80 kph) gave the impression the plane was completely stationary, hanging in the sky maybe 150 m (whatever that is in feet) up.

First time viewer of this channel, and I must say you are by far, leaps and bounds ahead of the majority of storm videos. I watched the live stream from another channel and watched several go-arounds and seat of your pants landings. Your vid has it all, and more than the Sun Live Stream channel. Thank you and keep the excellent content coming!
Some very tidy flying there considering the winds.
Thanks for these aviation amazing moments! If take-off is difficult in windy conditions, landing remains not easy in all conditions. From this video we can conclude that the difference is not between air companies but between the pilots skills, competences and expertises.

Superb shots ! 😊

The PIA 777 near the end of the video had me biting my nails. I think touching down that late, most pilots would have probably called it and gone around for another attempt. Looked like he needed every bit of braking power to stop before the end of the runway!

Johnny S the PIA pilots are very skilled as they get trained by the airforce and are used to flying in worser weather conditions in Pakistan. I would recommend you watching a video of them flying to Gilgit airport kzread.info/dash/bejne/n2VrlKOYcdPcm5M.html
Fantastic A380 takeoff!!!
Superb Skilled pilots, that’s why they deserve every penny of being paid the big bucks!

TRyan Air did good today ;)
So glad weather was more friendly when I landed at BHX! 🙂
I recommend listening to Jerry Lee Lewis' "Whole lot of shakin' goin' on" while watching this.
Takeoff into a serious headwind. Wonder what the initial climb feels like. Takeoff plus being on an elevator?
as ever, great video
Aww you missed a Ryanair takeoff to Dublin shortly after the PIA landed, I was on that!
The Qatar airways did fantastic landing and takeoff. Hats off to the pilots.
Wow, you have to give credit to the pilots. They are great 👍.
A380 is one hell of a plane, to bad the changing market couldn't support it.
Well, 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 the captain is doing a great job.

Yes, The Ryanair Pilots all seemed to employ the strategy of "let's go in fast and low to cut through the wind and just toss the plane down for the touchdown." They were in control enough to avoid the nose gear touching the ground first. It is actually not a terrible idea if you don't care about having to replace the brakes and tires more frequently.

Would love to know if the 07:15 (scheduled) Jet2 for ALC is one of those shown. Was G-JZHA.
0:18 i was waiting for everyone to say "butterrr" :D
as I sit here and watch these, I have a question. if you raise a child watching videos of these to/landings, would they be less inclined to be frightened to fly? This is wonderful btw. Thank you for taking the time to create this for us.
impressionnantes images!!!!!merçi
Good video. Enjoyed that. Would have loved to be a pilot.
Is it the onboard computers controlling the aircraft ie to stop it from rolling over when landing? The flaps on the large wings seem to working when it rolls/tips sideways. I believe the pilot controls the rudder upon landing to keep the plane in a straight line on the runway. Cheers.
737s are the most difficult jets to land especially in such conditions . Hatts off to Pilots !

Haloooo Elwyn R,,,You have a great video. Greetings from miftahjaya96 channel,Indonesia.
I don't know about you guys but I'd be digging my nails on the arm rests on those seats of those planes. Turbulence at that magnitude I'd be kissing the ground once we get on the ground white knuckles and all.
@Trevor_Austin
4 жыл бұрын
*Chat Noir* - The best way of handling turbulence like this is to relax as much as possible. You can only ‘white knuckle’ for so long. Also you need considerably less faith to believe there will be a good outcome than to believe god/s exist.

Been there, done it. When the flight attendants are told to sit down mid flight - you know it's not a joke anymore. Everyone is very, very quiet apart from those sick... and hard to find an atheist, I guess. Our landing was seasoned with hailstone - I saw it from the window and I thought it was snowing.

@shutup My nightmare flight was from Belfast to Birmingham. Short but unforgettable: during a hurricane. We made an emergency descent above the Irish Sea and when we crossed the coastline I thought the plane will fall apart. It was terrifying, I don't understand why they fly in such condition.

In another Ciara video I have watched a lot of planes diverted to Munich & at least one to Spain. Did one approach then diverted immediately. I imagine that taken as a whole Britain & Western Europe has a lot of suitable runways available for situations like Ciara.
Hi mate, I enjoy your vids ... What camera and lens do you use?
4:37 omg Ryanair was sooooo smooth 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Airbus A380 is a stunning aircraft !
A380 is a storm champion. Must have been full throttle mode.
Great video mate...Question , Dose anybody know why I cant get a direct flight from America Into Birmingham ? There was a time when I could....Thanks .
Whoa. Birds in the path. 12:04. Dangerous birds, not dangerous the wind. Wife and I lost right engine on 757 climbing out of PDX years ago. Bird strike
Airbus please dont stop the production of the 380. it is majestic and the best in the skyes
22 sets of rubber on the A380 , a good match for south westerlys ,
Fly-by-wire system can help the pilot a lot.
Does anyone know what the pulse rate is of these pilots?
