This stream by safina society is so important in broadening the horizons of muslims regarding Islam . Most Muslims irrespective of madhab are unaware of other madhabs and differences in opinion. This knowledge gives us tolerance and patience towards people. Because of globalisation and intermixing of all types of Muslim communities, islamic schools should have a discipline dedicated to giving an idea of other madhabs and their validity, only then will the lines of sectarianism will start to diminish.

You can call them a wali speculatively "based on what I see." And only Allah knows absolutely.

​@contemplatively In Quran 5:55 Allah calls the Prophet and the believers walis. { إِنَّمَا وَلِيُّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُمۡ رَٰكِعُونَ } [Surah Al-Māʾidah: 55] Your true allies (wali) are Allah, His Messenger, and the believers- those who keep up the prayer, pay the prescribed alms, and bow down in worship.

The problem with beards is we also need to look at clear order from the prophet pbuh which also the order of Allah, all the imams become 3rd hand when the subject has been tackled by the prophet, what ever the prophet says related to islam is from Allah
