Stories of organic alpine cheese, unexpected calves and real happiness

About organic alpine cheese, unexpected calves and real happiness.
High up on the Hinderist hut on the Wasserberg, a genuine alpine cheese has been produced for generations. Since 2007, for the first time a woman has been processing the milk produced on her own alp into a multi-award-winning top-quality cheese. Her certified organic cheese is now popular far beyond the borders of Central Switzerland and enjoys an excellent reputation. This success is due to sustainable working methods, exemplary animal husbandry and the unique flora of the alp on the Wasserberg.
This film tells the story of the married couple Cathy and Gerold Gwerder and accompanies them for a whole day on their remote farm high in the mountains of Central Switzerland.

A good video shows the Swiss as ordinary people and workers, many people think that the Swiss are the ones who work in banks and offices. More videos like this

My wife and I lived in the mountains of east Tennessee for 28 years! One day she asked if we could move to the ocean. We were both from the ocean! We moved to south Florida and spent 4 years in that crap hole. I asked her after four years, if we could move back to the mountains. She replied, heck yes! We sold the house and moved back to Tennessee north of Chattanooga to a little mountain called Mowbray Mountain outside of Soddy Daisy. Thank God and we are home! A man once said, "You can take the boy out of the mountains, but you can not take the mountains out of the boy!"

Hi Ray, thank you for sharing your story. The life in the mountains is the best, quiet and fresh air. I visited Tennessee in 2003. Many thanks for watching and very best wishes from Ol‘ Switzerland.
