STORIES OF MIGRANTS | Diana, Ketino and Natia | Dance group

Diana, Ketino, and Natia were born in Belarus and grew up in Georgian families. They are bright representatives of second-generation migrants. They are integrated into Belarusian society but also associate themselves closely with Georgian culture. In their childhood, parents brought them to Georgian dance classes so that they would have a connection to their ethnic culture. These classes became an important part of their lives.
Now the girls lead an ensemble, a school, and a show-ballet of Georgian dances and thus share their culture. The girls note a great interest in Georgian dances: both children and adults come to dance classes at the school, and the audience applauds enthusiastically at performances.
