as a young(ish) gen Z person I feel that the Christians of this generation are some of the strongest I've ever met.

Amen! This happened at our church Christmas Eve. We felt just like the students at Asbury described - we just could not leave. When we finally left late and got home we just didn’t want it to end, and we sat on the couch just soaking in God’s presence, praying and worshipping and repenting. It can happen anywhere we hunger for God. I pray this spreads across the world!

Jennie, after you called us to pray, I got down on my knees and spent an hour in prayer, worship, and repentence. Revival starts in the hearts of each and every person and that is what spreads it to others. Praying that I can truly surrender my life to God after years of being half in and half out. Only God can help me. He gives me what I need each and every day. May the Lord bring great changes in the hearts and lives of those in my generation (gen z). We long for more, we long to taste and see that the Lord is good!

If we as the body of Christ don't allow our lives to be Transformed by the Holy Spirit, we are always going to be needing revivals to jumpstart our lives. We should be taking what God has put in us to go out and reach the world, the lost souls, and not try to keep everything inside a building. Jesus was always outside healing, delivering and setting people free. We should be doing what Jesus told us to do, and that is to go ye into the world and preach the gospel, because Jesus came to set the captives free.

Everything you say I believe is true, but we live in a sinful reality and it won’t be perfect till Christ return, revivals are needed during this age because we are to minister to the Lord and God will minister to us and the church definitely needs encouragement otherwise the body can’t minister without the encouragement and building of the believers to go into all the world ❤

I read a comment where one person had been praying 50 years for revival and another said they had been praying for 30 years. God working behind the scenes. The pray bowls in heaven tip.

Thank you for sharing. History has shown every revival and awakening begins like this. People like to credit men of old like Charles Finney, but that man wasnt even saved. A ladies prayer group prayed him in, and prayed for him continually. He had a handful of friends who prayed for the local pastor, and from there, revival swept the north east, and a great awakening followed, reaching across the atlantic and back. It can start today, with you!

Charles Finney was the greatest revivalist America has ever seen. Before preaching grace he would preach the Law to bring the peoples sins up to the forefront of their attention. When going to a community he would spend up to 28 days preaching nothing but the Law of God until finally the people would break. They would cry out saying “Don’t you have any grace?” to which he would respond “Don’t ask me, ask God.” And the people would and there was wonderful revival!

But Finney was saved thru the prayers of the ladies prayer meeting. They continued to support him in prayer, and revival continued until that prayer group disbanded. Also Finney had some friends that joined him in praying for a resistant pastor, and when he was set on fire for God, revival swept the entire North East. A great awakening followed, reaching even across the Atlantic. Do not despise the day of small beginnings.

God uses everything for his purpose. Authentic and real is what living water satisfies -- a real and authentic thirst. That is what the world has provided us -- A hunger and a thirst. It has not been wasted. The Lord has answered the thirst because blessed are those that are thirsty BECAUSE THEY WILLBE SATISFIED. it’s a faceless and nameless move of God. Let the living water flow because it’s new wine that can’t be contained in old dry brittle wine skins. Leave the Life in the water and it will refresh and restore the cry within and rebuild the ancient streets within every person. We are the temple made without hands and that’s the temple he’s rebuilding within each of us and restore a oneness.

Jesus, don’t pass us by! Bring repentance. Help us to call out the things that have held us captive. Jesus forgive me for the things that I hold more important then You. Jesus reveal all the areas of my life where repentance is needed. Start with me Jesus. Start in my heart. Don’t pass by. Bring revival to Greensboro NC. Forgive me for my pride and forgive me for making other things more important then You Jesus. Please bring healing to our land. Bring unity to our Nation. Bring healing to brokenness. Forgive me for wounds that I have caused. Bring healing to those wounded by ones that would label themselves Christian’s. Forgive me for any hypocrisy. I wish George told how the music actually did stop. Although the music ended so they could report to lunch, about 30 students opted to linger and skip lunch and they sent messages to their friends to stop by the chapel. Music is AWESOME but it's not required to seek after the heart of the Father.

It is all about Christ. Christ died! Christ was burried! Christ was risen! Christ was seen! Christ in you - the hope of glory.

I'm sooo excited to see this happening again. A lot of "Revival" had happened in the past and all of them just dissipated and disappeared. And I believe it was because somebody tries to lead and control it (unscripted work of the Spirit), then the Holy Spirit can't freely work anymore. I pray that nobody should try to control it. And let God work through it and CHANGE people's personal lives, their homes, workplace.. treckle down to communities changed. That for me will be the proof that this really is the work of God and not just a passing "experience" of His presence. Please, please don't get on the way of the work of the Holy Spirit! Lord Jesus have it your way!

Jesus I pray that you return and take us home. We are in the final hour and the world is headed for the end, ready or not. Maranatha, come quickly Lord Jesus. Believe in the One He sent for the remission of sin, Jesus paid it all on the cross. Just believe and He will be with you forever. Don’t wait to clean your life up before you come to Him. He doesn’t require sacrifice. His will is that you believe in Jesus for the remission of sin. Then you will be His bought and paid for by His blood. He will deal with your sin, trust me. In that prophetic word about the Asbury University revival that was given on February 9, 2021 it sounds like God has Plans. That little video was on the the Wildfire Ministries channel.

We who are from God have overcome the false teacher's, the antichrist, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1st John 4:4 You are a genuine believer, you have the dwelling Holy Spirit to counsel and lead you into all truth. Read your Bible daily!!

I haven’t heard anyone speak about the word of God. Isn’t that how he speaks to us today? Romans 12:2 tells us to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. We get a transformed mind by reading his word, trusting what it says and living out of our identity in Christ. So many are hungry for God, but finding it by emotionalism isn’t what will last. We need people to put their trust and faith in the finished work of the cross. We don’t need to confess our sins we need to thank him for dying and paying for them so that we would have life. 1 Corinthians 15:3,4 Christ did for our sins was buried and rose again. For by grace are ye saved through faith;and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast. (Eph. 2: 8-9) (Eph. 1:13) that when ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise.

Lord Jesus do not pass us by...

You want Revival? ....Genuine Revival for the Lord Jesus Christ? The People of God- The Church, the body of Christ - MUST speak out against the Pharaohs of our day who prevent God's people from worshipping God on the Lord's Day. Close businesses on Sundays. Make worship available to ALL, not just the upper and middle class on the Lord's Day.

In truth, all who rest in Christ's love stay in the sabbath always. He works through us while we yield to him, in a state of restful contemplation. All the specific pointing to this or that is an earthly truth and is relative, in heaven it is always now the sabbath. What is the sabbath with no earth or sun? When we have died to the earth-body and are raised with Christ in newness of life, It is rest in Christ in heavenly places always.
