@@Copemaxer of course I have, but unless you are using your image/specific attribute to strategically use it for marketing purposes, then yeah maybe you should consider this. However for the average joe who's just casually running out and about and especially the gym, its not necessary, especially when 9 times out of 10 other people are worried about themselves and what others think of them. Aside from that I still stand on what I said, who gives a fuck, my validation don't come from others and neither should yours.

@@Infinite147No, you should *strive* to always look your best depending on your contextual surroundings. If you could picture the monetary value, influence, general good will and positive assumptions that you’re losing out on every time you don’t look your best you’d sing a different tune. Obviously, you should strive to do this within reason, and other considerations. may be more important- but the halo effect is ever present and can greatly benefit your life.

I'm not denying the existence of the halo effect, and how the looks have MUCH influence in your interactions with the world, believe me I KNOW. However you should still have the freedom to be able to unwind and be loose with yourself and feel free to dress in way that disregards what may or may not be viewed as acceptable or attractive to the outside world, like for the context in this video, the gym shouldn't matter how you dress, you come to workout and sweat, so it'd make more sense to dress more casually or even like a bum. If your going out and working in sales or as a lawyer or something along those areas of career where your image has power then yes absolutely be at your best, but outside of that, who cares. What matters is who you are as a person and how you move and interact with the world and its people, which can totally change, enhance, or totally destroy their perception of you based on these superfical factors. Believe that.

I mean, oversized apparel is pretty awesome, there are times when you wanna show your mooscles but there are also times when you wanna dress comfortably so I'd say, do whatever you like

Another thing to keep mind is, that most people who get judge are people are skinny or fat, if you have a decent amount of muscle and you are at a normal bf% your chances of getting judge in a negative way are quite small. I am not saying there is a 0 chance or anything like that but people often overexagerate these thing making it look like its common (in this context), which for most people simple isnt true. But yeah, at the end of the day why would care if people like your physique or not (unless you are a model or anything like thag lol)

I’m pretty jacked but I choose not to let my ego get ahead of me and try to show off my body so I wear oversized stuff. I don’t care for the attention of others and only focus on myself. If you wear tight ass shit that makes your muscle stand out then you are doing it for attention. Like coach Greg once said, you wouldn’t try to look all nice just to stay at home and sit on the couch. You do this for attention. Be humble, put a hoodie on and try to get so big that you can’t fit in it anymore, keep your head low and focus on yourself.

From my experience, explosive fibres's clothes fit like that. Got a t shirt from them that has some loose ass sleeves, but it tapers the waist really well

There's an aesthetic street look to the right hoodie. The understated baginess, especially in darker colours, can look pretty slick. You shouldn't just slap on any hoodie though; if you want to you're free to, but it feels better and makes you more attractive to have a bit of class.

The bigger I’ve gotten the more I get oversized clothes. Makes me feel like Clark Kent lol. But I just don’t like having to worry about if I look big or if the lighting is good all the time. I don’t like going to the store and catching myself in an unflattering mirror or window. I’d rather wear something where I can just be comfortable. I don’t work out for other people anyway so if I look “fat” or “skinny” idrc. Plus here in America I’ve had so many obese people comment on how “skinny” I am even in good fitting clothes because unless you’re 200lbs of muscle or 200lbs of fat you’re a rail. I just stopped looking for external validation because people’s perception is warped so now I don’t have to care. If people call me skinny now it’s because I don’t want to show them what I got

I'm 6'4 so oversized clothes are a better fit plus its comfortable. You go to the gym to workout not to be completely uncomfortable and if it takes oversized clothes to make someone comfortable at the gym, then so be it. If you're in public then you still want to be comfortable to an extent. You don't want people to think you are about to commit a crime so being comfortable can help.

My goal for anything oversized or big is to show the silhouette of my physique. it shows off the thickness of my traps, shoulders, and back without showing any full details or aesthetics of anything else. Plus I got a tank top underneath most of the time. So makes taking the "pump cover" off an option if I want to.
