Always follow the manufacturer’s directions when using any DRYLOK® product.
Prep
Use a wire brush to clean off dust, dirt, and loose material. You may notice a white powdery substance on the surface. It’s called efflorescence…natural salts that water has pushed out of the masonry. Since efflorescence stops DRYLOK® from bonding to the surface, neutralize the salts with DRYLOK® Liquid or Powder Etch.
Patch
Filling cracks and holes? DRYLOK® Fast Plug® sets in just 3-5 minutes, even on active leaks. Apply it with a putty knife or trowel, then smooth it out. Quick tip: The junction of the floor and walls is a common place where water can enter your home.
Paint
When using DRYLOK® Masonry Waterproofer, really work it in, filling in all the pores and pinholes. Remember, you need at least two coats for the Warranty to kick in. Finally, clean up’s a snap - just use warm, soapy water!

Just used the ugl waterproofing extreme to seal my entire basement was having seepage and leaks everywhere for a long time already tried kilzs and that was no good. So got 20 gallons of this for 2 coats on the whole basement I pray on the next heavy rain there will not be any more leaks anywhere.

Did this make a difference? which city if i may ask. I want to use this in my basement too in West Windsor NJ
